Look for info on the Cajon Subdivision (San Bernardino to Barstow), and the Mojave Subdivision (Barstow to Bakersfield - Mojave yard is the approximate midpoint). Both of these subdivisions are part of BNSF's Western Region.

Colton is on UP's Los Angeles Subdivision (Los Angeles Division).

You might try looking through the Yahoo message forums for folks interested in prototype operations on the subs listed above. Many of these groups have file libraries that may contain the items you're looking for.

Actually Marc "Colton" (as in old Colton) is on the Yuma Subdivision. West Colton yard is on UP's Alhambra Subdivision. The Los Angeles Subdivision technically ends at Riverside when the line joins BNSF and it picks up again at Daggett.

UPSD70ACE you can find unofficial timetables for the subdivisions mentioned by me and Marc (Hack) here:

    http://socalrailfan.com/

Click the link at the top left that says "SCRF Forum". When you get to the forum scroll down a bit and you will sections for BNSF and UP and each section has sub forums for each subdivision. If you then click a link for a particular subdivision, at the very top of each forum you will see a link (or actually a forum post) for timetables and maps. For example a post will look like this: "Click Here for Alhambra Sub - Overview, Maps, Timetables, Misc Info."

    I hope this helps.
