Default Editing Trains Without a Locomotive in Editors & Tools?

I am trying to edit some of the default consists for the Full Bucket Line, and when I try to edit the consists without locomotives, they do not show up on the list. Can anyone help?

There are two kinds of consists, the ones that show in the Consist editor list, and the ones that are known as Loose Consists, and can only be accessed by using the activity editor. Loose consists are placed on a route as part of an activity and show in the activity editor as strings of oblong shapes with a small ring at one end. The ring is the lead unit of the consist. To edit these loose consists you right click on the lead unit and select the Properties option which will take you to the Consist Editor.

Charles, I'm surprised you didn't say anything You can also use Conbuilder to edit loose consists. It also works great for replacing missing pieces of rolling stock for ones you have in your trainset folder. I especially like the "replace all occurrences of this wagon" option

P.S I'm not associated in anyway with the Conbuilder team, just a happy customer Your mileage may vary

You cannot open a consist in the MSTS consist editor if you don't have all the required rolling stock for that particular consist.

    Another happy CB customer.
