yet again it's all about graphics...
I just watched the trailer, it still sounds really boring in the cab: no joint sounds, nothing to indicate speed - sound-wise.
Lots of editing tools - but no mention of being able to edit or create sounds.
I haven't played RS1 at all in months, as MSTS sounds leave it in the shade. MSTS sounds like a train simulator. RW is still not much more than a pretty moving-scenery generator.
Pass.

Guy in Germany expressed the opinion that RS was a good tree and water simulator, but needed proper signals and AI traffic logic to be an actual train simulator. One guy who bought RW quoted that, talked about how the lighting and shadows in RW were improved, and expressed the opinion that RW was "more realistic than the tree and water simulator RS was". Okay, so now it's a tree and water and lighting and shadows simulator, did we all forget it's supposed to be "RailWorks will provide the best looking and most realistic train and rail simulation platform for rail enthusiasts and modellers." First part is what everyone seems to be interested in, concur it's the best looking, but "most realistic train and rail simulation", uh no, RS don't even come close and it don't appear to me RW has met that claim either. Again, hard to tell from the posts, does it have trains in it?

Maybe along the lines of Railwaves, with wheel-on-track sounds too
