    Default tweaking and changeing breaks

how would I go about changeing the breaking so that i dont have to constently throw it into emergency just to slow down?

example, air pressure is up where it should be, i apply the breaks, and nothing happens, the breaks finally apply when i get to about 80% on the break aplacator, but it only goes up to about 50 PSI and i end up with a run away.

How would i change it so that the air pressure builds faster?

What engine is giving you the problem. BTW, 500psi seems a bit high to me.

In order to have any idea at all what the problem might be it is necessary to have a little basic information. Knowing what the consist is and the source of the files would allow one one look at the .eng/.wag files involved to see if there are any parameter values and/or syntax errors, etc that would prevent the brakes from working as they should.

the 1st time i have noticed this was last night, i was running ATSF 840 ( personal renumber) and ATSF 643 from Seligmen Sub and repainted Cascade crossing well cars.

i think it might be 643 as any consist that its NOT in builds break pressure rather quickly

If you want fast acting brakes instead of the "real" ones on #643 change these to the figures shown. This can be found near the top of the eng file.

    MaxReleaseRate( 7 )
    MaxApplicationRate( 5.5 )
