Thread: BNSF Brush sub

  1. #1

    Default BNSF Brush sub

I have started laying track on the BNSF Brush sub. The California Zephyr runs on this. It will finish at Denver and start at Sterling. The Zephyr comes into the route at Brush.

What era are you planning on using? I have some track layout info from the 70's and earlier. I also have a lot of stuff for the Brush to McCook main. Most of it is CB&Q era.

It is current as I've been using google earth for the route. I've gone as far south as the power plant at 13th Ave. Of course Denver Union Station. Have most of the yard at 23rd Steet done. I could use the names of the yards. I'm mostly a DRGW fan but wanted more of the California Zephyr route. I know the Denver area is different from the 70s, what about the rest of the route? Thanks in advance for any help.

After 23rd Street, the Brush Sub continues into BNSF's 31st Street Yard and continues to 48th Ave and then continues East to Sterling.

I have track up to almost Commerce City. Adding scenery now before I get too far ahead. Are there any AIE scanners and where? Also drag detectors.
