We will take a look at exposing that parameter for all cameras in OpenRails.

You can change the FOV (for all cameras IIRC) with the hidden registry setting "ViewingFOV" (REG_DWORD) in the usual place, i.e. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\OpenRails\ORTS. 45 is the default.

One thing I've noticed in openrails BTW I love the fact that widescreen resolutions are supported. Is that when I try to use the cabcar on one of my commuter trainsets the cabcar doesn't even show up in the sim. You can select it in the locomotive list but the cabcar does not show up in the sim plus I can't switch to the cabcar cabview. Does anyone know how to fix that problem? Other than that openrails is great software. I have checked all the options in the program to fix that but nothing works. Any suggestions on how to fix please let me know.

To better assist you, the OR team requests you attach the log file (OpenRailslog.txt) which is found on your desktop, by default. Second, please identify the model and where it can be downloaded. And lastly, please indicate if the issue is isolated to this particular model, or can be broadly reproduced with other models.

Just wondering why this thread that is Clearly marked Official v7.0 Thread has become a question and answer thread? I expect to see OFFICIAL information from the developers about v7.0 when I access the thread. How about using the Open Rails forum regular threads for questions.

Well I would hazard a guess that unless the administrators had made this a locked thread - effectively an announcement only - then any questions relating to this version would be acceptable here.

    Would that be correct?

"Official v0.7 Thread", which as seagoon intimates. Makes it the ideal thread to ask questions about the current build.

    Minor glitch with electric locomotives.

When using the MILW electrics (on the RMD_East route, for example) it is necessary, after returning to a saved game, to re-raise the pantographs and also switch the headlight back on.
All electrical power is lost if this is not done, naturally.

Would it be possible to have the saved-game state also save the state of the panto's?

    Thanks,
    BK
