    Default long hood forward problem

    Hello All, or just somebody.
Have this urge to run some engines long hood forward using the very good cabview sd402front-highhood.ace and the appropiate left and rear views. This cabview seems to work with some engines but not all, only a few I have found so far. I want to use it on the CR-RS32R. This cabview works fine on some geeps.
The good part is that the cabview, when properly installed, give one a front view showing the long hood of the engine you are using for it.
On the RS32R it shows the grabirons etc but not the outside long hood.
I imagine that it has something to do with the shape file or the shape, period.
Anybody even used the cabview on other engines, diesels?
I will try to send a picture of what one sees from the cab.

Look at the post right above/below this, and see if my summation will help you too.

Thanks Neil, for the reply. But my problem seems to be different. The grabirons one sees in front of the cab should be there. Also the long hood should be there, but it isn't. That is the part I want to see and it is possible with the cabxx.aces I am using, as mentioned. I use it f.i. on a GP9 and the outside hood of it shows. When one looks at the ace file, one can see that no hood detail is built into the ace file. Instead there is lots of room for the hood of almost any engine to show because the opening in the ace is all alphad out. Ingenious that, it took me a few weeks, even month to figure out. But it does not show on the one I want to use it on. Not sure if I make this clear enough,
    Thanks for your thoughts,
    Ted
