Conrail Indie would have suited me, as per the MSTS version. Or maybe a Canadian route for a change.

Sorry Otto. I forgot about that. I was thinking of a route, like the CSX Chicago Line.

There are a couple of 3rd-party Canadian routes out there; The Bay of Quinte line and Eagle Ridge are two that I know of. As for official RSC ones, there's nothing yet but there is the U.S. based Fort Kent to Eagle Lake route available on Steam which is pretty close, being next to the border with Canada and features CN rolling stock.

You can try the new BC Rail route from Milepost Simulations.

I agree, the Frasier and Cariboo (BC Rail from Lillooet to 70 mile house) route is a must have for all BC Rail, CN and Canadian railfans. Have a look at this thread along with the above link for more screen shots of the route.

I wonder if whatever traction is included with this route will...
    1. Have the power curve set up correctly so you're not accelerating up hill in Notch 2 and,
    2. Correct dynamic braking physics so that going into setup the train doesn't judder to a stop in 100 yards and/or derail.

I'm just a little bit concerned that we are being sold another route on the basis of its history and scenery - the "Art" of Railworks as it has been termed. Let's just hope some heed is also paid to what needs putting in place to operate trains correctly over the hill.

Yes, I'd love to see the CSX Chicago Line modeled in Northwest Ohio where they have a huge intermodal yard and industries to switch so its not a long boring route...

like to see 3dtrains come out with a surfliner with the trains for railworks. also the seaview and sell then through steam. the routes i got from steam work for me first time. like the free routes like ottos barstow but it take me awhile to get them running right. like the new train sim. with kuju part of railworks and the way it works for me its ts without ms. always hope someone would come up with a msts that can run good on todays computers and for me trainsim2012 is a good platform to build from just like msts did back in late 90s. i like the rockin cab and the sounds of the new sim among other things. like loading up a route with a lot of stuff and the train will still run good for me. to bad its not backdoor. with all the sweat tears and bucks into msts. now its starting all over again. but for me its a fun hobby. keep up the good work trainsim2012.

All of the speculation and SWAGs in this and other threads has inspired me to devise a new writing shortcut: WaS, which equals Wait and See.
