MSTS Issues

Okay I've been really frustrated with this MSTS Bin for as long as I can remember I've done the directions like it asked but I keep getting this error message and I don't remember what it was but I tried to use the keys to do free roam and no luck. I'll re-install it today so I can shot what's going on.

Kris,
if you have installed BIN previously you can not just install it over the top of an old version. You have to remove the old version first.
In addition you do know that BIN will not install and work with MSTS unless it has been patched to v1.4 using the downloads from Microsoft.

No... This is how it works..

First..install MSTS..--------> Then install the "SD40-2 content update"----------> Then install the MSTS v1.4 update----------------------> Then, install MSTSbin v1.8..... Thats all theres to it.. Then you can install other routes.. If you install other routes first then BIN, you will have problems..

The 2 updates for MSTS can be found at the Steam 4 Me site..

Okay I've still got some old files on the game that I downloaded from here but I have looked and they're gone but I still get notifications for them and the activities are gone as well. So what should I do?

Okay MSTS Bin is still not working. Tried to do free roam and it didn't work. I was told hit the 4 key, press and hold shift, then hit 9 while holding down the shit key and even did it after releasing it. I'm stuck and there's supposed to be new screenshots as well. Was I supposed to unzip or run win zip?

It says that it can't creat output file launcher.exe
