Best wishes to you to Thomas, in whatever you chose to do. Thanks for all you've done.
I take it that means the Mojave to Barstow and Palmdale route which Otto referenced in another thread died with your interest, Tom?
Worth knowing as it perhaps gives others the opportunity to step in and take a look at the area.
Thomas, Again Really? Seriously is this the third or fourth time you've thrown in the towel when something went off course. There are plenty of people here and on the other forum that are willing to help. From what I briefly read in the other thread, I think the first thing you should have done was deleted your scenarios. Second thing like OTTO always preaches, backup, backup, backup, at the most you'll only loose one days worth of work. I'm not sure why you continue to have these problems, I've been working on my Montour route for over two years and to date I've only had one SBHH. All I can say is don't worry gang, he'll be back in a week or two when he calms down.
Regards,
Rich S.
I think it is more serious this time, Tom having removed Steam / TS-2012 and all his work from his computer, he is not going to support either, leaving all he has done for me to look after and support.
Him having done that and wanting to resume using TS-2012 he will have to start all over again and carry on working where he has left off using the C-B Beta-5 on my web site.
He said that if anybody wants to carry on developing his Connellsville to Baltimore route then please do so !

Thomas has asked me to post what the root cause of his problems is:
2 of my MSTS friends, Roman, creator of Y-Tracks and George of MSTSBin both got divorced by their wives, spending too much time using their computers to work on whatever, neglecting them. After a Family Powwow It has been determined that work has been stopped and with sad news all manor of play has stopped as well.
Family issues and family time are the big concerns at this time.
So All Railworks programs assets and anything else have been removed from my computer.
If I come back it will be further in the future but I can not say when this will be.
Especially in Summer a family man should spend more time with their family.
However if you have a wife who is equally interested in train simulators like RWA's Hawk then you are lucky !
I am old and have no relations in this country apart from best friend ex-wife and can do what I like with my time and working with train simulators is what I get most pleasure of, most of the time, as well as good food and drink, I can also not have too much of because of heart problems and Diabetes-2.
I now have another old friend, Bill Putnam, who needs help with his version of Thomas' B-SB Mojave route after getting him started creating it using my version of it, which should keep me busy for a while until something else turns up.

Just curious where you got that Idea Otto?
My wife has no interest in train simulators. As a matter of fact, her extent in computer use is playing Hearts and checking out her Soap Opera websites.
I have mentioned in the past that my wife is tolerant of the time I spend on the computer, but as for sharing any computer related interests; not in this lifetime. LOL!

I must have got you mixed up with another couple who were working on a MSTS route some time ago.

Ah! I think I know what you're talking about. I was working on a route with a gal up in Michigan, Zoe Topper, a couple of years ago. It was the Western & Atlantic Route - circa 1862.
She was just a friend, who - sadly - passed away on June 7th of this year.
Maybe that's what you were thinking about.
