Yes, there is a map view showing trians, tracks and siding/platform names, no controlling yet.

I think even without an overview map Multiplayer would be alright in the mean time. I couldn't imagine how much work it would take to program and overview screen etc. Just a matter of calling out what signal or milepost you are at on your virtual radio. Makes you think and remember the route you are running on.
