Since so many people have been having problems seeing posts with the old fictional thread, I figured I would start a new one that everyone can see.
A few random pics.

Something interesting is going on at Lake Hurst today. MSVR's Desert Wind pulls into the station, where the Desert Rose is still waiting due to mechanical issues.
The Desert Wind recieves the highball and gets underway.

Talk about clean paint! Dayum Di! Those things look sweeeeeet!
In other news, the Monterey and Salinas Valley Railroad has acquired the route through the Feather River Canyon from Union Pacific. UP will rely heavily on it's line across Donner Pass to handle it's traffic from here on out. A portion of the line will be leased to Western American Railways (AAR: WARy), a division of Hjellum Enterprises. On it's first day as owners of the line, the MSVR set out a newly painted GP35 to handle the switching and local duties around Oroville. Seen here, the new engine is switching out the Georgia Pacific plant just outside of Oroville.
Train assembled and ready to head out.
And back to town she goes!
