In response to the previous one...YOLO Shortline!? I oughta shoot you! XD
Here are screenshot gems not taken before here. Set in my route in Blythe.
The grand crossing of Hobsonway.
In Bernard Street.
Crossing Chanslorway.

For the unenlightened and misinformed, Yolo Shortline is named after the County Of Yolo in Northern California. Want a link?

I've lived there for 17 years, and take offense to the You Only Live Once BS. Yolo Shortline was and still is a real railroad. One that I have an intimate knowledge of, and therefore take further offense to that comment.

Next time, do some research.
SJ, I don't think he meant to be offensive-he's probably like me when it comes to his attitude towards that phrase.
The first Desert Wind arrives from Las Vegas behind two F59PHIs. A trial tonight has resulted in a very long layover at Fort Fairfax.
Finally off after 20 minutes in the station.
The trial tonight was to see if it was possible to use the Desert Wind shuttle surplus freight cars out of the cramped Fort Fairfax yards to Lake Hurst or LA, the delay being the time it took for a yard engine to couple on the baretables.

Ach, I guess I shouldn't be too upset. It's just kind of sad when everyone and their mother assumes that one thing is another, due to memes and popular culture. Still, I tend to be a trifle defensive when living in Yolo County that long.
...
Anyways, seasons greetings from WARY. We've begun winter operations today with the first trains being snowed-in in some areas of the Inside Gateway. Here, lone WARY 502 contrasts with her NCL (That's Northern California Limited) train at Greenville, CA.
Enjoy!
