    Default Rail transport in Moscow

    Moscow - the capital of Russia, largest city and transport node in formerly USSR. In July 2015 I was ride to St. Petersburg via Moscow to meeting with trainsim.ru members, and the I was distance learning in Moscow railway transport University (http://miit.ru/portal/page/portal/en).

    Excellent mix of pics. The EP2K trains have some similar looking qualities to some of the newer Amtrak engines used on the NE Corridor. I guess many new streamlined passenger/commuter train engines share similar features.

    November 2015, Yaroslavskiy railway terminal, my named train "Vyatka" Kirov-Moscow with AC/DC electric loco EP20 (in Moscow 3000 V AC, in Kirov 25000 V AC, this loco does not change):

    Locomotive yard Podmoskovnaya - largest place in Russia, where served steam locomotives, over 10 units. Every day between Rizskiy railway terminal and Podmoskovnaya runs steam train, sometimes steam locomotives uses in tourist trains and shunting operations. Red diesel loco - TEP70BS, EMU - Siemens Desiro, also beside is EMU yard:

    From 24 February to 11 March 2016 I was in Moscow on learning, 11 March, Yaroslavskiy rail terminal, train Moscow-Noviy Urengoy, that take me to Kirov:
