Thanks to the efforts of Peter O'Neill (ossie) and several content creators who were able to be contacted, many of these routes are now being made available in our library after an almost two year absence.
In the coming weeks, more items including rolling stock and activities will be forthcoming. Our community goal is to try and have a safe home for as much of the S4M content as possible. I can't guarantee this site will be around forever, but I'm certainly doing what I can to ensure that, and community donations primarily from First Class memberships directly support those digital archiving efforts here.
As with UKTS, our intent in housing these items is to honor the intent of content authors and creators freely sharing their works, not knowing that the site they'd been hosted at would suddenly be closed and their works no longer available to future generations of train sim enthusiasts.
If anyone would like to take up the cause of trying to preserve the many tutorials that were at S4M, please let me know. Some may require a little updating after all the improvements with ORTS and TSRE, but I know that many still have details that remain just as applicable in 2025 as they were in 2005.
If you are a creator whose items have been shared here and you wish to have them removed, contact me directly.

Thank you for doing this. I'm wondering though, could someone get permission to bring back the Team ALCo payware locomotives which were also hosted on the site?
These files are hosted as a tribute to Brian after his passing and are exclusive to the site.
