EDIT:As far as fog, the real world has a haze:

Now, that draw distance and haze does look good, Harold, thanks for posting, I'll give it a whirl when it comes out, TSW is now deleted and with the space on my hard drive available I can get TRS2019 on, but, I won't get toooooooo excited, just yet.

    Cheerz. Steve.

Who cares about all those whiners ?.

The only whiner around here is you.

We are having a conversation about TRS2019, of which both myself and Harold are beta testers.

Draw distance and haze was established with TANE.

One of my pet hates, regarding Trainz Bruce.

Yeah i don't like it Harold and with TANE. The haze can only be removed at session level, not route level.

Unless the route is cloned first. Which defeats the object of using DLC routes and being able to mod them.

Yeah, a far poorer system than changing the environment in all of the other sims.

But eventually the Trainz lifers will screw up the graphics because the lifers want the game to look like Trainz.

Now going in that direction, so why bother.

First saw the game said "Wow", now "WTF".

N3V will always end up at the same place.

                      Back down in the basement.

Now, that did make me laugh, Harold, I'll have to remember that line for a few other things I see on the internet.

                          Yes, nice one.

As I said earlier there are too many people wanting to cling to their < TS12 era bits and pieces. I've recently become quite attached to the UK canal scene and Trainz is the only one of the "big three" that seems to support the concept of a working canal, particularly with locks which operate as a turntable. The problem is, many of the assets are textured with the old garish Auran grass assets which stick out like a sore thumb if you try and blend into the more realistic TANE era textures and trees etc. I could have a go at reskinning but then the thorny old chestnut of getting permission to upload as a varied asset kicks into place. No point in looking good on my route if it still displays the original colours on everyone elses.

Well I suppose I could find a section of canal without locks but that takes away one of the key features of running a canal, for us armchair gongoozlers!

That was sarcasm, can't easily change the environments in any of the other sims.

N3V is actually parading out ECML and Hinton again.

Can't they find competent route builders.

                              Good grief

                                Hinton is really awful.

Was chastised for pointing out the failings of Hinton.

Guess time to revise my failure meme.
