    Rivercide Electric Railroad

    I'll split this into several posts because the Forum does not allow more than one video per post.

    The Rivercide Electric Railroad. Set somewhere ... , well certainly in North America. Somewhere where there are autumn leaves. New England perhaps?

    The railroad originally provided a service between small riverside agricultural communities. It was electrified to carry coal from Southcide to the major coal fired power station at Northcide. I tried to give it a slightly run down and well used appearance. It's obliviously seen better times and looks as if it might be struggling to exist.

    The northern end is Northcide, with the power plant and ACME industrial complex. As we all know, ACME produces and consumes just about anything -- a really useful industry to have on any railroad.

        The railroad re-geared the PRR B1 locomotives for higher maximum speed. Here we see a high speed test run over the route:
