    This place is DEAD! For...

A new release like Trainz 2022 gets the same treatment as TSW? Actually, TSW 2 did better than this. Or is this the last place you want to go looking for customer reviews of the latest Trainz. - Rich

Not really a Trainz forum. Better off looking on YT for reviews.

Hello Rich, unfortunately, it appears that many veteran rail/train simmers left the building long ago, especially, when it comes to N3V products. If you venture on to their forums you'll have the usual fanboy responses that everything is fine and dandy, as many critics of each Trainz game version have either been banned, or, got fed up of all the rhetoric and disappeared (me included). I still get e-mailed by N3V, very recently regarding this particular 2022 version, but, as I have absolutely no intention of obtaining it, I personally couldn't give any type of actual review on gameplay, software/hardware effectiveness, etc, etc, so, I couldn't help you anyway, and I wouldn't have thought you'd get an awful lot of replies on this particular forum to your question.

      Enjoy your fishing.....

      All the best.

P.S. I still play all of your routes in Train Simulator, so, your talent has and will always be hugely appreciated over the years.

      Cheerz. Steve.

I gave up on Trainz long ago in a galaxy far away for way too many reasons to list. The NV3/Auran forum is probably still a joke so I wouldn't relay on it particularly if you're unhappy with a project cause they don't want to hear it and won't be remotely objective. Yes, YT probably the best place to look, but watch out for reviews done by people with direct ties to NV3. Those clowns WILL NOT point out anything seriously wrong, bugs, or other gremlins/weirdness.

I have been using TRS22 for a few days, but the love is fast wearing off again.

Cannot see it being on the pc come Saturday or Sunday.

Roll on the scenery update for DRS. Then i can dump all the rest of the rubbish.

          Mike.

After 20 years Trainz still doesn't even have dynamic brake sounds for diesels..... That and the community is like high school.

Thanks Steve, I do appreciate being remembered like that. I've read all the comments thus far in this thread and none of it is encouraging! lol! I have a desire to create a route something like Philskene's, what he does, but I want to take a little different take on it and see if a group can run operations on it like a model railroad operations session. I'm starting off with something small. And if I can ever get past that N3V guy who just prattles on to death in his tutorials I might live long enough to create this route. I've never seen somebody who can talk so long and say absolutely nothing on the subject he's doing the tutorial on. If I would've thought there be any negativity towards Trainz is that that particuliar guy is the worst to put up with. I have watched some guys who have done good tutorials I just happened to pick this guy instead of searching out some good ones. My mistake. Anyway, no dynamic brakes, really? I got the track laid at least but now I got to raise parts of it so I'm looking how to raise track.

Hey Mike, but what is YT? Thanks. Oh, I'm not really looking for reviews I thought a new version of the game would've generated some excitement at least.

Why Rich, none of us knows everything.

As my old dad used to say. Only a fool or a liar, thinks they know everything.

                            Well, you shouldn't, Rich.

It took me ages to clue into what "OMG" meant back when it first came out in social media.......and a couple of years ago, when my doctor told me that my back pain was due to TMB, I thought I had a serious disease until she said "Too many birthdays, Bruce"!.
