Couldn't think of a name for my latest route, and since all the other trainsimmers think Trainz is a toy train set anyway, why not American Flyer.
Model railroad style routes are fun, but sometimes seem unrealistic, prototype routes are realistic but usually at the expense of fun. This is an attempt to combine the best of both, so it looks more realistic but is still fun to run on.
Starting in "Easton" yard the main goes south then turns west;
At Wye Knott, where there are branchlines going to the coal mine, a logging camp, and an oil field.
After running west it turns north along a river, then turns east to cross under the originating Easton yard.
Climbing up, turns south again, through an industrial area.
Turns west again at another wye, with an alternate route to the oil field, logging camp, and Wye Knott.
Haven't I seen this yard before? Going west for the second time, now crossing over the Easton yard.
