    No....not at all, mate.

I am creating a Standard scenario - east to west (Havre to Whitefish).....testing the first part of it now.
Several years ago I created a three-part scenario for Marias Pass, based on a video done by High Ball Productions (hbp), which followed a coal train from Shelby to Whitefish.
So with this one I've moved the starting point to Havre.

    Will see how it goes.

Nice one Bruce, needless to say i got bored with it and deleted the merge.

I never had the patience to create standard scenarios buddy.

Plus i prefer the randomness of AI in QD scenarios. Standard scenarios, you know what is coming every time the scenario is run.

Good luck with it though, bit of a challenge for you populating the whole route.

      Mike.

True....which is why I rarely run them again once I've tested umpteen times!
Between 2003 and 2011 I created 15 Activities for MSTS and several others for Railworks/Train Sim 20xx since, yet never go back to them, preferring stuff done by others.

So what do you do with them Bruce.

Just delete them is it buddy, once you have tested them to destruction

They've all been uploaded to the library here (the MSTS and Railworks ones) and to the Steam library for the TS20xx few.

Here's a 5-minute clip of a Scenario I was planning on completing across the two divisions, but after umpteen restarts I finally threw in the towel!

                    No, not at all, Mike.
I just became frustrated at trying to get a Standard scenario to work without popping up X or ! icons in the Builder mode.
I'd get the player's path accepted but as soon as I started placing static consists it would pop up these messages saying that there was a clash with something.....yet there wasn't!

So I just said the hell with it and went back to QD.

Understood Bruce, it can be a pain. Particularly on a route with lengthy single track sections.

The AI and signalling logic is not up to the job in DTG releases. Trainz actually does it better and more so if you take the time to use the pathing tool. Incorporated into the Enhanced Interlocking Towers.

That's when the game, for me, becomes work.....and I left that behind in 2012.

Okee dokes Bruce, i can't be arsed with it either.

But it's far better than DTG's shonky AI & signalling.

                          Mike.

I'm persisting with the bloody thing.....need my head read.

Have started again and have actually managed to create a couple of AI where the paths don't conflict with anything.

                                LOL!!

No, just a glutton for punishment, Mike.
I just want to try and get traffic flowing through the entire merged route.
