True....which is why I rarely run them again once I've tested umpteen times!
Between 2003 and 2011 I created 15 Activities for MSTS and several others for Railworks/Train Sim 20xx since, yet never go back to them, preferring stuff done by others.

Nice one Bruce, needless to say i got bored with it and deleted the merge.

I never had the patience to create standard scenarios buddy.

Plus i prefer the randomness of AI in QD scenarios. Standard scenarios, you know what is coming every time the scenario is run.

Good luck with it though, bit of a challenge for you populating the whole route.

    Mike.

    No....not at all, mate.

I am creating a Standard scenario - east to west (Havre to Whitefish).....testing the first part of it now.
Several years ago I created a three-part scenario for Marias Pass, based on a video done by High Ball Productions (hbp), which followed a coal train from Shelby to Whitefish.
So with this one I've moved the starting point to Havre.

    Will see how it goes.

You're a champ, Mike. Thanks for the info and link.

I am better at "doing" than "explaining" Bruce.

But yes it is just a matter of placing the AI start point markers. Setting a destination and choosing the types of consist you wish to spawn.

All done from within the marker options.

    Never thought of that, Mike!
Is the procedure pretty straight-forward? It's a few years since I've used the "Builder" in this sim.

    Ahhh! Okay, I understand.
Guess I'll have to try and create a proper Scenario/Activity. It's a good while since I've done that.

For there to be any AI on the route. My fave is to place an AI spawn point on the same track as the player train, about a section ahead of it.

Then you get to follow it running the yellows. Until it leaves the route at a point designated by myself if at all.

Works much better with UK routes.

Doesn't QD have AI by default?
There's a check box which says "player train only", which I've left blank.

Good work Bruce, don't forget to wave and give me a flash (lights that is) when we pass.

Must put some AI in as it is getting a bit boring.

Yeah....I discovered that was the situation, so I created a new QD to run the whole length.......but reverse to yours!
