Why do I have to create an account with YouTube or Google before being able to watch it on the Railsimulator.com web site, I do not have to do with any other YouTube video being linked to in messages ?

I've come up empty-handed also in trying to nail down an answer as to why my DVD drive doesn't eject a fresh biscuit every time I visit the website.

Where is my biscuit railsimulator.com?

Otto, if you are talking about the link on the front page of the RSC web site which takes you to the Rail Simulator Youtube channel then I am not sure what is happening as when I click on that link it takes me to the RS channel and I can view that video and others without logging in or joining Youtube ( I am not a member btw ).

Might also be a browser problem, I recently stumbled across a "Click here for more details" link that didn't work, but when I tried it with IE it works fine. I have the latest Firefox, which apparently still has a few loose screws. Yeah, I know, so do I.

It runs fine under Opera without having to register??

Its runs also good on my Firefox with latest updates, no account needed.

No, I think I am too old !

Here is what happens.

I click on video on this RS.com page:



and after a brief glimpse of the YouTube page featuring this video get this:



No problem as I have found a link to view it using GOOGLE.

Just curious why the RS.com web site does that ?

Seriously though it must be a browser setting or something as I and others don't get that happening and I refuse to sign up to google for anything so it is not due to that.

It was my Internet Tools / Privacy Settings I had set to block YouTube Cookies. Did not cause any problems using other YouTube links.
