Problem solved

Reading about problems with the RS.com Challenger I removed them from my CSX-Mainline Potomac Yard scenario and had no more "Something bad has happened" errors !

I would not have expected RS.com assets to cause problems in RW-X.

Pity those who did not BACK-UP their RAILWORKS folder first !

The final version of the CSX-Mainline comes with the Freeroam Potomac Yard single ES44AC diesel scenario only and could be that you still had a scenario from a previous one or have created a new one ?

Yes it was one I created myself in RS and must have failed when I transfered route using RW tools. Also the TP seems to work OK from the start after update.
