I can just about make out that it is called Copy of Quick Drive Scenario.
How and what with did you use to create a copy of any scenario and having done that how do you know what its original is ?
Going out for dinner know !
P.S.: I checked your latest attachments and the third one I can read.
It tells me that you are CLONING, not copying a Quick Drive scenario, but does not say which one and the name of the route it is in !
I am going to try doing the same with the Berlin-Leipzig route when I am back home again !
Here is a copy of my original post.
Hi everyone I would like to inform you of this game changing find that I found which will enhance your railroading experience using train simulator. I originally posted this on the steam discussion board and thought that you guys and girls would like to know. you will find me on steam as theskipper98.
First of all you run a route in quick drive, then go to the build editor and clone the quick drive scenario which will read copy of quick drive scenario. Then open the copy of quick drive scenario in the scenario editor in rw tools and pick what service that you want to drive in the opposite direction and save the quick drive scenario as a Free roam scenario and the result is you now have a random quick drive. You can do this every time that you run a quick drive route by cloning and creating a Freeroam scenario in rw tools. Also when you come of route you can pick up freight wagons and shunt and drive anywhere and jump to different services.
I really hope that it helps all you railway enthusiasts.Last edited by theskipper98; 07-20-2016, 13:54.

Every time I do that with another QD scenario of the route it creates a copy with the same name to convert into another clone for converting to Freeroam !
I have the Marsdonshire route I got in 2014 and had to do a lot of work on it replacing its missing tunnel interiors, but have removed all it scenarios, some missing rolling stock, already using my pathed Freeroam scenarios then.

Sorry, but your alternative method of using cloned QD scenarios can not do what my pathed Freeroam scenarios can.

But I did not first run a Quick Drive scenario before cloning it and having done that now I can edit it in the RW_Tools Scenarios Editor, but use only the consists it already has.

prerogative. At least I tried to show you a fresh idea and hopefully helped anyone reading my threads.
Ps I set my quick drive up from Cairnlochross to Portkeane with a class 31 and this generated loads of ai trains to jump onto to.

(quote) Timetable ? Just enter the final destination blue box without giving a destination and all points will be free to set manually via the map screen.
I set a player path in the Scenario Editor, which gets saved into the Scenario's INITIALSAVE.bin, all my Freeroam scenarios players can follow, unless they want to divert from it and come back to it later !Web site: www.otto-wipfel.co.uk

Further to my previous post I have removed the loco's previous QD Driver icon showing a destination in its Scenario Editor's loco details, which usually makes it an AI and replaced it with a new one, no destination showing indicating that it is a PLAYER !
Then still in the Editor pathed it all the way to Berlin and saved it to run all the way without having to consult the #9 Freeroam Play mode's #9 map, other than to check its progress where it is in the route.
Also having added another reverse loop at Leipzip, this ICE-3 Freeroam player can now run the entire route to Berlin over and over again without having to check that all switches are set properly on its way.
That done and running this scenario again it does not have to be pathed again !
That lets me enjoy watching the scenery, like all these excellent YouTube Führerstand / Driver Cab videos do.
I can now add other players and Loose Consists in other locations and use them any way I like. Add AIs to start on the many twin tracks not used by a player. Not being able to launch them when a player gets to their markers, like QD's can, is the only fly in the ointment !
Your method could be of use to those who have little experience in using the TS-2016 editors, DTG no longer supplying Freeroam scenarios with their recent routes, but also requires some learning of what they have to do, even I with my exhaustive long time experience of using Railworks had problems with !
What you are suggesting is not covered in manuals, nor supported by DTG, one of the reasons why they have tried to stop users messing with TS-2016, them not having the necessary experience, giving their Support staff serious headaches !

Best viewed FULL screen and using the video's Settings can be made to run up to X2 speed !Web site: www.otto-wipfel.co.uk

If you place drivers on any static trains these static trains will be player operated when you jump onto them when passing these trains on your journey. I found that when I path an ai train that sometimes they will creep along slowly. To get around this problem you must use the waypoint markers which are the little red flags on the timetable editor.
I like to run ai trains ahead of a player train as it makes the sim more interesting, as always running on green signals bore me to tears lol.
It takes a lot of skill to run trains at line speed and keeping time when driving in foggy conditions especially when being checked down by a slower moving train.
I do like your idea of freeroam scenarios but what kills it for me is that you have to manually place each ai train on the route, where using a quick drive clone as a freeroam scenario all the hard work of placing ai trains is done for you and is random, as every qd scenario that you clone and convert will have different ai trains.
I mentioned my idea to the train sim community as I thought that it was a simple way of running ai trains on a freeroam map. For years when I have been looking at the trainsim forum, I kept seeing from trainsim fans that they wished that they could have ai trains in freeroam and so I came to a decision to help the train sim community to achieve their wish.
Maybe I have opened Pandoras box but I am very surprised that my idea is not popular, but I am surprised that some members of the train sim community would contact DTG support with any problems using my method as this method is a back door way of enhancing an excellent and realistic simulation. Some of the routes that I have are so lifelike and amazing!

Most members I have given advice to in almost 40000 posts by now are aware of what I have done to improve the use of Railworks and here are some of their comments:

Now that DTG are using many new methods of preventing inexperienced users messing with their files, starting with compiled AP archives, compiled LUA scripts, *.MD5 files and not supplying Freeroam scenarios, is the main reason why few can do what you suggest, I myself had a few problems with, you not showing with JPGs what you do, I have learned doing from my Pal Sniper (Jim Ward) going back to MSIS days !Web site: www.otto-wipfel.co.uk

It is not your idea which is the problem and my READMEs of most modified by me Railworks.com downloads state this:

Irfan is a friend of mine and has studied in the University of Vienna, my home town where I come from and is now a member its LINUX department !
I has many functions you can learn by studying its manual first.
It can capture images of what is showing in running programs and what is displayed in the Windows Explorer windows and store them as JPGs in a W.I.P folder like I have.
That done the Irfanviewer can then edit them in many ways to suit images displays in whatever, im my case very useful when I worked with other programmers in the past, to show them what a problem is all about and how I deal with them !
There is also my old tutorial for taking MSTS screenshots here:
https://www.trainsim.com/vbts/content.php?38-How-ToCreate-And-Upload-Screen-Shots
This will get you going doing what I do to show them and once you know a bit about it shall assist you with what I know about it.Web site: www.otto-wipfel.co.uk

Rule No.1 is that the route and its Assets must have their APs 7-Zip expanded into their folders, the APs themselves made invisible to TS-2016 by renaming it to *.AP-WHATEVER and their folders made to allow READ-WRITE in their Properties !
Whatever route has been cloned and has been loaded in TS-2016 and is running in Play mode, I move CTRL-E into its World editor and in it change into its Scenario editor.
I am starting a new thread, which could be of use to others when being searched for !Web site: www.otto-wipfel.co.uk
