That's one way to deal with logo licensing issues... Sell the locomotives without the logo, and issue a patch for free...

No way am I buying it until/unless there is a sale.

It has received some scathing reviews, all referring to the recycling of old 'stock, locos and sounds.
High praise for the route and landscape but thumbs definitely down on the equipment.

Better than all the 3 mile long UK routes, for me.

I thought Milepost had their own website, it might have been a better idea to disassociate themselves from DTG and sell any routes independently, having scathing reviews mainly because of the rolling stock that is included in the package has a knock on effect against their good name, which is extremely unfair as they don't provide the locomotives and freightcars, they should have sold the route as it is on their site and keep the negative reviews to zero. DTG certainly knock their 3rd party partners about with such a crap policy, I'm surprised anybody deals with them nowadays, I'd have told them to sod off year's ago, and go it alone and keep my sanity and good reputation in the railsimming development world, and DTG wonder why they themselves get such a bad press, dear oh dear oh dear......

Spot on Steve, the route is excellent. There is other rolling stock that can be used with it.

So the DTG crud included doesn't really bother me.

And say this on RWA and Buzz will torpedo your posts. NOT EDIT, delete. He'll probably deny that. Everyone is spot on regarding the engines, cars, and sounds as well as the buildings. I'm also going to wait till it hits one of their fire sales and get it dirt cheap. I did see that the patch for the logos went by-bye after the last DTG update and won't work anymore. Not many reports on that one yet, just a few. Conspiracy theory here, but wouldn't be surprised DTG learned of the work around for the patch and zapped it on that update. But for me personally, most of their updates whack something that worked so I don't have mine set up for updates for the sim it's self. Steam updates haven't hurt me to date.

You could always run the GTEL's off Sherman Hill - wrong railway and location, but what the hey.

I rarely buy anything full price from DTG, the exception will be Clinchfield for TSW2 which I'm currently having extreme difficulty controlling my drooling over.

Actually there also is the problem - DTG are effectively competing with themselves, if I have £25 to spend on a route, unless it's really top notch I'm going to plump for something in TSW these days.
