TSC Upcoming Turkish Route

I've just read the 124 page intensive manual, Vern, and these Turkish guys who developed it have done a great job going by the screenshots. However, they inform us that it's single line only for about 90% of the journey over the mountains from one end to the other, which takes away some of the excitement as driving one way for 80 miles at 70kmh on a freight train doesn't fill me with much enthusiasm. I'm sure they have done the area proud with the scenery and authentic diesel loco and rolling stock, but, the scenery assets are not realistically interchangeable on other routes we have in the game and unless more Turkish routes appear in future this loco and coaches can't be utilised elsewhere for the time being.
Cheerz. Steve.i7 10700k 3.8GHz Eight Core CPU, Gigabyte Z590 AORUS ELITE AX, 32GB RAM, nVidia RTX3060ti 8GB, WIN10 PRO 64-bit. 10xTB in HDDs total.

Well it's better than the TSW Birmingham route!
A few niggles, which you thought DTG might have guided the third party developer through...
Outside station areas the track speed has been left at 110 km/h obviously the default laying the track. However apparent from taking the first curve at 105 km/h and thinking I was going to tip over, then consulting the "Timetable" sheet which shows the actual speeds, the correct limit is actually around 70 km/h.
There's also a bit of an issue with the loco idle sound, can definitely spot the loop, it tends to drown out all the other sounds when coasting and doesn't fade into the run sounds when you open the throttle, still there in the background.
However the developer is taking the feedback on the DTG forum and seems keen to follow up on it.
Can't fault the route appearance or the 3D modelling of the loco and stock so at present I would rate 7.5/10.Vern.

Well after a bit more driving it's okay. Kudos to the new developer for putting the route out but the scenery is decidedly odd in places. Everything seems a bit bright and the trees up close drag FPS down to a crawl but the LOD is horrible - at a distance they look like something out of old Zusi. It seems to be lacking some serious optimisation. As for the terrain textures, sadly the hills and distant mountains have really come across as showing the weakness of the TSC terrain painting system, rather blobby and honestly low res in some places. It's better than Run 8 Donner, but not by much.
I get the feeling from the reviews on Steam and the comments at the DTG forum people are holding back on the criticism to spare the feelings of the devs, who have obviously poured their heart and soul into it but the out and out adulation is a bit misplaced too, IMHO.Vern.

For me not interested in the route. But from What I've read last couple posts, here's the question. Just how much monkeying around did DTG do with this before release? Did they pretty leave it the way the Devs designed it, or did they throw in some monkey wrenches like they are known for? Personally, I'd NEVER let DTG mess with something I designed. They'd jack it up in a heartbeat.

One thing I will say, unlike some payware routes in TSC there are plenty of scenarios, albeit standard not career.Vern.
