I'm trying to design some track for a friend. My track is invisible in the sim. It's there, but can't be seen. From what I've read it could be one of two things wrong. 1. Textured in the wrong direction. I'm reasonably sure it's correct. 2. The LoftTexDiff.fx is not assigned correctly in 3DC. I'm think its the shader. 1. Do I apply a texture onto the model? If so, how it is setup? what size should it be, what format? What kind of texture? And in 3DC. 1. What should be typed in the custom field material wise? 2. In the construction slot, where should the LoftTexDiff.fx go?
I've never made a loft or used this LoftTexDiff.fx shader. Just not much doc wise that's a help. The DTG Dev docs are basically useless to me for the most part.
The blueprint for it is correct. Or at least there where no errors on export.
My friend is currently learning Blender. He's getting further along with it than I am. We have used 3D since we got into RW in 2012. He did manage to produce a shape, but I think he didn't set it right because it's no where to be found in the assets list in the RE.
