    TSC - Hanover to Hagerstown

Little bit left over in my Steam Wallet so thinking of grabbing this in the tail end of the sales. Seems to have good reviews for the route at least, train pack not so much. And High Iron Simulations don’t enjoy the most sterling reputation. If anyone has this in TSC, would be great to hear your views to make an informed decision.

Heavy tonnage, rolling farmlands, rugged mountains, modern motive power, and the history-rich, scenic countryside of Maryland and Pennsylvania all await you in the CSX Hanover Subdivision route for Train Simulator!

Average if i remember correctly Vern. I had TSC and all the DLC permanently removed from my Steam account. So as i say from memory, average route but cannot comment on included stock. As i do not know enough about US stock, to comment fairly.

Well I took the plunge and bought it. Always got the refund option if not up to expectations.

Surprised you perma deleted Mike, though I guess it's not impossible to get back. Thought you enjoyed the Bossman and Victory steamers.

Do not want anything to do with DTG, Vern. Did the same with TSW and all the DLC. Yes top quality addons, from VW, Bossman and Caledonian, plus some other third party developers. All ruined by the inept stupidity and short-sightedness of DTG.

I might get myself a copy of Sniper Elite V, really enjoying revisiting SE 4.

I will have to try those Sniper games at some point.

I see SE4 is only £3.99 in the sale on Steam so might drop it in my collection.

Good fun Vern, especially the kill camera 😆. 2017 game buddy but the graphics are very good, so bargain at £3.99.

I plumped for the Deluxe version which I think throws in the Season Pass DLC. Going to take a while to download though - 67Gb!

Nice one Vern, i hope you enjoy playing it. I just got deaded, thats enough for me tonight. 🤣.

I looked at SE5 earlier, only £13+ for base game but for the full bundle. It is £40.60 and i cannot afford that after buying all these computer components.

Ended up getting a mobo, cpu + water cooler and 32gb of ddr5 mem bundle. New case, psu and graphics card, plus another 1tb ssd.

Viv Nicholson has got nothing on me buddy 🤣🤣.

Sounds like a good PC upgrade there Mike. Still mulling over mine or, rather, I know what I want to do with it - just need to get the investment past the wife.

Will take my first look at SE4later. Know what you mean about getting unalived. Used to hate that in Call Of Duty, if you stayed too long in one spot even under cover, the enemy found you and spammed grenades. Does SE4 allow you to save as you go or does it use checkpoints? Just wondering.

Haven't put it together yet Vern, still using the old one. Which is fine for SE4 on highest settings.
Just think you are in the SAS and getting the investment passed Mrs M. Is the most critical operation you have ever carried out 😁😁.

Yeah you can be discovered by being in one place to long. But severity of action against you, depends on how much you were exposed and how close to the enemy you were. Yes manual saves as often as you wish and auto saves in game as well Vern.

                        Enjoy buddy.

                        Mike.

Managed to get deaded pretty much straight away on the first mission. Climbed up the tower as suggested, but even though I aimed true couldn’t hit the two goons outside the building. So they made a beeline for the base of the tower, one climbed up who I machine gunned but I couldn’t lure the other one up. Climbed down to confront and shortly after got the red screen of death!

Will have another go later probably need to work out how to manage the recoil better!

Good thing is on easy mode, getting deaded is not that bad. As restarting the checkpoint, usually doesn't take you back too far.
Don't forget to use the binoculars to highlight enemy troops.
Hold your breathe with the space bar when taking sniper shots, which also zooms you in a bit more.

I always use the Delisle Carbine as my main weapon, as it is suppressed Vern. It was actually in service in the British Army up until the 1960's, i believe.

Sniper Elite 4 is the fourth installment of the Sniper Elite series. It is set in Sicily, Italy. The main objective in the game is to take out targets and sweep through missions. In 1943 Karl Fairburne is sent to Italy, in order to save the country from the grip of Fascism. As well as that, Karl must stop the Axis forces from deploying a new weapon that could stop the allied resistance against the Axis Powers, before it even begins. And having to face the Italian resistance leader who distrusts
