Flying Scotsman and the rest of the class were a joke in reality.
As to TSW4 i uninstalled it yesterday. It's the same old rubbish, with a few extra bolt ons. Which are not exactly exciting or revolutionary.
I have no respect for DTG as a developer, none what so ever. Difference between them and Run8 developers and the DRS lapioware developer, are light years apart.

I'll have a look to see if that hole is still there on the Hamilton Oakville Sub route, thanks for mentioning it, the area to explore look very good, so, will see if I can get into it.

      Cheerz. Steve.
Steve, I've played Run8 with a decent number of people from overseas, Run8 seems to offer them something other sims don't even despite the difference in equipment.

I have respect for all the train sim developers, it's not an easy niche to make a living in, and customers aren't always the easiest to please.

In my world respect is earned, not just given. DTG, N3V have done nothing to gain it.

Run 8 is very good but they really need to up the graphic standards along with a complete overhaul of their e-commerce system (i.e. it needs to be customer friendly).
It also needs to diversify a bit with support for timetabled passenger operations and the ability to spawn trains at a specific time.
Also some older vintage equipment would not go amiss along with getting into some all new territory - there were rumours one time of an Alaska route but that seems to have bitten the dust, but domething like the CP transcon across BC and Alberta would certainly rekindle my enthusiasm (and wallet).

Unfortunately they seem to be treading water when it comes to these two aspects of their business.....certainly their shopfront needs modernising. It's painful trying to make multiple purchases.
