There's a bit of freight on NTP particularly if you get the Heavy Freight pack with Class 40 also ECML has some longer runs albeit all with the ubiquitous Class 66. Think TVL is the only one that has you doing shunting, the rest of the UK routes with freight is pretty much end to end stuff.

Thanks Vern, much appreciated. I don't mind the end-to-end runs (that's pretty much how I use Run 8 anyway). I do enjoy a bit of variety though, which the journey's/scenarios supply when I want them. Haven't done much with ECML lately so will have a look. I need to do some research on things like crew changes (I'm only assuming that's a thing there in the UK) er I suppose it's just a driver change nowadays...is there even a Secondman on the freight runs? They've tried that here to disastrous effect (see Lac Megantic, Que. rail disaster) ...Avidly simming on the rails:
