On my second run, still the odd jitter with the sound but hopefully now the shaders have cached they will get fewer. But yes a fine experience ragging the 87 along, puts a lot of the previous content in the shade. Really need to grab the environment mod and put it back on as both runs so far have had the dynamic weather do its usual almost instant switch to raging tropical thunderstorm. Probably not that inaccurate for driving over Shap!
I was going to see how much of Kendal is there, having lived in the …hole for about 4 months in early 1977. Probably different now but back then outsiders, particularly with Geordie accents, were not welcome. Not to mention being dumped in the grammar school compared to the modern comprehensives I was at in Northampton at the time, was like stepping back to the dark ages. Teachers walking round with gowns on and people getting whacked left right and centre with the cane for minor infractions!
Can't beat a good whacking Vern Two secondary moderns for me, Milford Haven and Langley. Loads of 6 of the best on the hands and slipper on the behind. No comprehensives in my day buddy. You were originally a Geordie is it Vern. My two fave English regional accents, Georgie and Scouser.
But i digress, this route is what should have been in TSW from day one or this quality of route. Then i probably wouldn't have been so dismissive of the game. Oh for a JT Paddington - Bristol BR Blue (roughly the same length).
