I'm seeing "Market Leader in the Development and Construction of 53' Containers".

UNIT53, market leader in the development and construction of 53ft containers. UNIT53 (a subsidiary of UNIT45) offers a standard range of containers including the dry unit and diesel electric reefer.

Never witnessed Unit53 before, but I'm also at the mercy of seeing nothing but CP/CPKC domestic containers.

I had to look them up too Shawn, which was a bit embarrassing when I realised we have them down here too, although it's Unit48 in our case. Unit01 for my observation skills....

interestingly, all of the 53' containers i have been producing of late all came from photograph's of entire consists around the Mojave sub and the consist the UNIT53's were in had about 5 of them all as singles on top of a double stack with just one of the blue dry containers which unfortunately was in the well so only the top half was showing. I had never seen a UNIT53 before that either.

I found a Hub Group cause container, but I don't believe it fits what Bernard is looking for, and I also found only one photo of it. I haven't been able to find the doors, the front end, or the opposite side.
I saved it regardless, thinking maybe I could give it a could, but again, same issues above.. Haven't found the ends, or other side. So maybe Bernard or Steve M would be able to put out some reachers and see what they can find, for any of the three of us to give it a go. Shrugs.

I've got photos of a few of them Shawn, but size and angle wise they are a very mixed bag. Unless someone had a HEAP of good photos, they're probably not really a reskinning project given the sides of them are flipped/mirrored so even if you have one good side, trying to cut and paste to get the other side right MIGHT prove to be a fiddly job. I did the pink one (or one of the pink ones if there's multiple) years ago, but that would have been 1024 and the rest of the pics got stuck in my "one of these days" folder (which given the size it's got to now should be retitled "not in this lifetime" 😊). If you or Bernard wanted to have a go at them at any time, I'd be happy to send copies but after the bit of poking and prodding I did at them, I think it's probably more a job for a good repainter, which I am not.
              Cheers!

Pete, I can't make any promises, as I just completely deleted my entire project folder of unfinished repaints, but I can take a look.

I don't blame you for not making any promises Shawn and I now wish I'd stayed silent until I had another look at the pics. I can now see why I only did the pink one as I had a really good photo of one side of it and it doesn't require much work to duplicate the reverse side. It was just a matter of swapping sections 1&2 and 3&4 and some minor tweaking like moving the reporting mark. The blue container is a good example of why the job gets harder if you only have 1 good side shot of most of them though. Unlike the pink one, in this case the "artwork" is reversed on both sides. As you can see, the female soldier has her back to the doors on both sides and the little girl has her back to the front end. In order to reverse those pics, you'd have the problem of the corrugations not lining up and then things start to get difficult.

I have a number of photos of a blue container with a baby on it for Chicago Children's Hospital, but only one of them MIGHT be good enough for a reskin and like the blue one in the pic, the photo of the baby and some of the writing is reversed on the 2 sides. I've got another blue one with the statue of liberty that is a good size and angle but a bit grainy, and no shot of the other side of it for a comparison of the layout. Of the other 4 I have, there's 2 more blue ones with the liberty bell and a buffalo and 2 red ones for Chicago Blackhawks Charities & American Red Cross and all of them are all 1 side only and all too small and/or angled for reskins. If you want to PM me your email address I'm happy to send them over for you to have a look at Shawn but there's not much there from a reskin point of view in my opinion.

The pics would all be good references though if any of the painters in the community wanted to have a crack at them. If so, feel free to PM your email address and I'll happily send what I have. So that's 8 in my "collection" plus the one Shawn posted that I don't have. Does anyone know how many in total there actually are?

**Apologies for the long reply by the way. I didn't want to get anyone's hopes up that these photos were going to be the answer to a HUB Cause reskin project.

Finding hi res, side on, nicely lit pics of these is near impossible. They have been on the list for years, but I haven't had the right pics. The ends I can deal with so long as I have a pic that shows me what text is there and any signs etc. I can then make it up from scratch. The text parts of the sides can easily be replicated, but the pictures are another story again.

set is complete and uploaded to the library, should work ok in MSTS but has not been tested there, if you do not like the couplers then take the containers and put them on the SLI shapes (you might have to repostition the containers in Shape file manager to do that) i used these shapes to keep the upload freeware. Due to mapping issues i was unable to add the reporting marks to the refrigerator end.

Another fine looking job Bernard, well done! And I agree Steve. When the containers were first done I thought they'd be massively photographed but despite regular searches I've had very little luck coming up with much at all. Even a couple of the guys who have helped me with photos and have thousands of side on shots haven't got them and in one case didn't even know they existed. It's a shame as a full set of them would really add some variety to domestic stack loads.

As I was leaving work the other night, I noticed we have a third color on our Prime trailers. A white Amazon Prime trailer, https://www.dreamstime.com/amazon-pr...image174681972
