thanks but they are not good enough for me to do a skin from, as i said i need much bigger pics in the 4000 + pixel wide range, i cannot take any myself as i live over 3000 miles away from where they roam, and they need to be more side on, i can work with a slight angle but at those angles details dissapear behind ribs and shadows etc. most of what i reskin is not because i look for specific pics its more that i come across the right pics while just generally browsing and save them for another time, i was lucky with the Amazon pics because a friend of mine in another part of the world had them saved up as he intended to do them, and sent them on to me. anyway its gone midnight and i am off to sleep now.

Containers like that are best to be square on, like this as an example.. This was from my own collection of photos that was used for the giant container set I did in the library..

Like burgerburn wrote in his ReadMe, there's a little more work to put these into service, but the result is nice. The AMZ containers have different numbers than the ones he gave us last week. We already have Schneider and JB Hint containers but "you can never have too many". You would need to choose a car or A-B-C set to apply these to, and doctor the .wag files to add and properly position the freight animations.

I wish these packs were released as DDS files instead of ACE (a note useful to ALL file library contributors). Converting them over becomes an act of double compression, compressing again a file that was compressed already for ACE format. If anything, MSTS users should be burdened with the double compression schtick of converting DDS over to ACE if they absolutely need to. As released, that burden currently falls on OR users. Its not worth the download without DDS alternatives in the pack or the source files to eliminate the second compression.

              veemr,

Yep, in the read-me. Something I have not done in many years and have to muddle my way back to doing it again, so I can enjoy these!

Right a friend has found me a load of hi res pics 4-5000 pixels wide of the Walmart, YRC and Hunt Uline containers, just sides though so still need to at least see a pic of the top of each of those containers as well as both ends, so i know what type/style they need to be (the 2 above give me an idea on one end of the YRC and hunt ones) I am also going to try out doing these on 2048 x 2048 textures to get better detail on the smaller lettering and numbers, i will do a number of sets of these on well cars as well as possibly spine car sets, but it will take some time, but will release a set each time i finish one. And i still have some Amazon pics i did not use which have containers with a different top edge detail so will add those into the mix, but no pushing for release dates they will be done when they are done and no more requests for other companies please, this is it for the moment.

despite finding some Uline hunt containers i could only find ones with the door at the left side and on Uline containers the Uline logo is always at the door end on both sides, so had to do a bit of work on this one., some one is going out with a camera in Kansas over the next couple of weeks to get some hi res pics of the 2 ends as there are absolutely no full hi res shots of those as well as the same for the other 2 companies, so i am concentrating on the sides at the moment, these Uline are not as common as you might think, i found a photographer that takes pics of entire consists in hi res as they pass by and in the consists with huge ammounts of J B Hunt containers Uline only crop up once or twice in whole consists and never in pairs only with a std JB Hunt, so that is how i am going to do them. couple of pics of the first one both sides on 2048 x 2048 ace files and i will do dds as well.

progress today, doubt i will get any more time today, have had it confirmed that the tops of the walmart and amazon with the different edges to the tops still have the same corrugated roof's so one less part to hunt down.

Last few days i have managed to renumber a second set of 3 gunderson wells and a second container stack with a more rusty ULINE on top and a std JBH intermodal on the bottom.

i will let the pic speak for it, the 3rd container stack i am working on, i do have a pic of the other side but the quality is not so good, its hi pixels but low res, so might be forced to relocate all the logos etc to the right position from this side to the other, unless any of you has or knows of a pic of this container over 3000 pixels wide of the side with the door end to the left (not the one on Flickr as its the big low res one and its at to acute an angle and indistinct)
