World of Subways 2 Ver 1.2 - Berlin U7 (SteamAppID 283600)
There seems to be little on WoS2, and what I've found is mostly in German, so I'm posting what I've learned in case it might help someone get started. Available from about $12-15, it's worth it.
These keys are for the F90 and are in the manual, but may not be properly set in the Options/Controls menu. This seems to have been done to allow for differences in European and American keyboards. Check to be sure.

* Sifa (Sicherheitsfahrschaltung or "safety driving switch"), usually a pedal and/or large button, to monitor driver alertness. The driver has to repeatedly press it after a fixed interval or the train will make an emergency-stop. In U-Bahn trains the Sifa has been combined with the driving switch. If the button is released (as when the driver becomes incapacitated or falls asleep) the train automatically stops.
** An emergency train stop, trip stop or tripcock or tripper is part of the signaling system protection that automatically stops a train if it attempts to pass a prohibited signal. If the dead man's switch is released and an emergency stop occurs, reset by pressing "Q".
Train preparation:
You must be in the cab to drive the train. Use "X" to turn on the car lights, "Z" for the cab lights, "P" for the panel lights and "L" for the headlights. See the Options/Controls menu to check or reconfigure the keys.
The F90 does not have a simple throttle-brake-mechanism, but uses a speed selector (PAGE UP/DOWN), a brake (UP/DOWN arrows), a throttle (SPACE) and a dead man switch (TAB.) Move the speed selector in the desired position, release the brakes and toggle the dead man switch. Press SPACE to engage the throttle. The dead man switch must remain engaged even while standing at a station. This and the throttle are toggles; except in emergency stops or in case you exit the cab, they remain set.
Press "F4" to set destination. Press CTRL to activate/deactivate mouse to scroll destinations.
Press "X" for car lights, "Z" for cab, "P" for panel lights, "L" for headlights.
When you enter the cab the reverser is in neutral. Press PAGE UP sets the reverser to forward.
Press PAGE UP again to pre-select the next higher speed: 15, 25, 50, 60, 70 km/h.
Press TAB to activate SIFA. The lower lever should be toward you.
Press DOWN ARROW twice to release brakes. Pressure gauge red needle will move toward the black needle.
When the needles meet. set the brake lever to drive (press UP ARROW once). The red brake light goes out.
Check that doors are closed and brakes released.
Press SPACE to activate throttle. Button on top of the SIFA lever should be toward you.
The fahrsperre red light must be on to drive. If it is out, press Q to activate the lock.
Driving with the Brake Lever:
Move the brake lever (UP ARROW) to the top position then back one notch (DOWN ARROW) to accelerate to the pre-set speed selected with PAGE UP/DOWN. Move to the top notch to maintain the current speed, back one notch to accelerate up to the pre-set speed selected with PAGE UP. Move back successive notches to brake and stop. When ready to move off, advance to top notch, pull back one notch, accelerate to desired speed, then back to the top notch to maintain that speed. Most driving can be done with this one control.
Stations and announcements. Press the number pad key for the following:
On arrival: NUM 5
On arrival, proper side for exit: (NUM 1 or 2)
Open doors: (NUM 7 left doors or NUM 9 right doors)
Train boarding announcement: NUM 4
When boarding is complete: NUM 6
Close doors: NUM 8 (for either side)
Throttle up to pre-set speed: UP ARROW to second from top position
The brake has four electro settings, an air brake and an emergency brake. During normal operations use the electro brake so that shortly before stopping the setting is on E4, indicated by a white control light. You must be in the third position to fully release the brakes and drive; move the brake fully forward, then back one notch. If you over-brake you'll dump your air and have to wait to recharge; watch the gauge.
If you leave the cab, the SIFA (TAB) and throttle (SPACE) must be reset. Technically, they should both be set off before you exit the cab. You may save the game, but if you delete a saved game in the Steam edition you will crash the game. The effects of AI traffic show in oncoming trains and in more frequent red signals.
The F-series cars were built by Henschel starting in 1974 as the F74, the F90s were built in 1990 and 1991. The design and structure of these cars is plain, representing the timeless elegance (i.e., less expensive design) of the '70s and '80s. Trains run in units of two, four or six cars. The U7 uses what is called a wide gauge profile. The differences in the narrow gauge cars of the U1, U2, U15, U3 and U4 lines is in the measurements of the cars and the power supply. Wide gauge cars obtain 750 volt current from the side-mounted live rail and feed back via the driving rail. The live rail is contacted on the lower side and the polarity is negative. Maximum speed is 70 km/h. Großprofil (physical track gauge) is the same for both, 1.435mm (4 ft 8 1/2 inche, standard railroad gauge.) Cars are 32.10m long, 3.42m high, 2.64m wide and seat 72, and trains can be run with 2, 4 or 6 cars.
The World of Subways Vol 2 Berlin U7 Review Notes
Graphics are superior to WoS Vol 1, The PATH. The route is completely underground, and the tunnel sections repeat periodically but it's not obvious. There are five special missions in addition to a number of scheduled runs.
Passengers in stations can be shown or not; they're fairly unrealistic. Only Spandau, I think, has a station that can be explored on more than one level. Stations look remarkably like the real ones. You can exit the cab ("C") and use the WAST kets to explore the stations and the tunnels. Return to the car with "R" and into the cab with "C".
Seemingly not so popular as WoS 1, 3 or 4, there's little help on the Internet, and what's there is largely in German. There is no Steam or Aerosoft forum. However, if the game runs on your computer, once you get used to driving, there are few issues. Most driving problems relate to red signals. Using the F1 route monitor helps anticipate them during learning, but costs points. The best approach is to watch carefully for yellows, which alert you to upcoming reds. These are not guarenteed, so be alert; the brakes are not especially powerful, and you may need to apply them vigourously. To get the maximum score for a run, you'll need to drive at 70km, a challenge.
If you drive the route without stopping for passengers, a good way to learn the driving technique, you will surely encounter red signals as you'll be over-running the train ahead. This can be reduced by turning off the AI.
The game dates from 2009 but plays properly under Windows XP, Vista, 8.x and 10. You may need to run as administrator if you do not have write permission in the game folderto be able to save options. One way to do this in Win 10 is to right-click the desktop icon for World of Subways Vol. 2 and choose "Run as Administrator."
