Well, tonight the RL CSI Dept. locked/removed latest GP (SafetyCab), for whatever reason, only, to discover unfounded, severely mistreated. Not so much as a sorry.
Once model's available again, I'll be removing them myself. Now the community, least some, have begun to jump ship. Such a sad state of affairs. CSI Crying foul, can't understand why others following my lead....

I'm still kind of lost why you put yourself through that crap. I think you even said you don't use RL before all this drama came about. There are lots of free blender objects that people have created available for developers etc. None of the backlash when you take something down. Plus there are fairly easy ways to make things happen in most game engines even if it's just for display purposes.

Can't say use RL all that much itself. Just like to model for the most part. Have yet to operate a train even around a layout, that portion holds no interest. I do like all the content offered by everyone, some basic, others detailed. Compared to many, mine are more gobs & dobs up close, but presentable, many seem to enjoy their use regardless. Its the modding community that seem to take issue when my follower numbers begin to climb. I don't know if feel pulling eyes away from others.

Oh young Sky Walker, Cool Hand Luke, our Galaxy grows ever smaller with each passing day. Subaru says "Everything Grows With Love". Sadly, the love seems to be slipping away. Perhaps go with Toyota "Takes You Places"... Procrastinators are a dying breed. lol... We're washed up, has been. We need to travel to the outer regions of the solar system. Plant the seeds of a new colony. Or, go via underground RR. We'll need to do it from your yd though, for mine is ledge won't get too deep otherwise.

Not feeling all that ambitious these days, Something has changed Rolling Line wise as well, not too sure, just something. Anyways, from time to time as of late, been working on my version of Shay. Not proto so to speak, just various shapes etc. enough for me, giving a sense of realness. I've been somewhat interested in Narrow Gauge as of late. Thus, my version of Shays fit my needs / desires. I've created several version with subtle differences namely colors & stack shapes. I've also created several versions of LogBunk RailCars, &, LogProps at ground level to go alongside, both in ST / NG Gauge. Other than that, RL's been pretty dead from my end. Anyways, hopefully may find snapshots enjoyable.

The NG Shay and logging camp is something we don't seem to see often enough in sims. Very nice!

I had created somewhat of a props package containing some goodies may find around shipping & receiving areas, docks, etc. Others had requested perhaps trucks. Got thinking, what the hell, why not. Thus, began cutting, refitting my older Dump/Mixer trucks with a couple versions of flatbeds. Grabbed a lifting arm/claw from one of my old MofW HiRail vehicles. The idea came after seeing the local hardware supply truck arrive in the drive. Everything in white/grayish color, means user paintable within RL. Anyways, here's several snapshots. Hopefully able to enjoy!.

Not all that active with Rolling Line lately. However, over several nights work, churned out a pair of props to go alongside Franks updated Santa Fe layout. With other VWs about the layout, got me thinking summer heat, hotrods, customs, Beach Boys, etc. Anyways, through together my own version of custom, along with makeshift Air Stream.

Here's a good read. Roughly a month ago another RL member released several empty Gondolas. Just after release I asked if be fine with me adding details / loads, with hopes of reupload to go alongside originals.

This is what I wrote / asked at the time:

"Hello VL I'd like to use your model as a base to work from.
Add various Loads, WheelSets / Trucks, Knuckles / Drawbars
During ReUpload to WorkShop give Credit".

Never got any word, not so much as a peep. After a months time figured plenty of time given for response, would go ahead offer loads to the community, again, along with proper credit for originals. I discovered yesterday had been removed.

During use of RL upload feature within the game itself the rule states as follows:

"If your item uses any assets/resources from another persons workshop item then you MUST include the name and owner of original item in your description."

During my upload, I did just that, gave proper credit to original creator.
I believe being fair given ample time for anyone to respond if they were to have issue. Again, not a word, til after an upload.

Honestly not too sure what to think this morn. Hell if ya do, hell if ya don't.
During the night received so many PMs in support, which is of no value, for others seem to be afraid to voice publically. Anyways, here's the base creation, with my addition of finer details / loads. Not too sure what harm done, other than personal attacks.

Perhaps others read differently, appears my interpretation of the rule be off.

Almost forgot this is the credit I posted along with model / description during upload:
