Somewhere In My Essay I was talking about a new train simulator

I'm going to say this one time (sorry I do take things personally). Taking a break was to reach out to those that follow me. But I have plans on possibly building a train simulator. Perhaps if I'm not MSTS I'm not worthy of that respect? Feel free to lock this thread as I have, delete the message, or whatever. But I thought it would be cool to talk about what another simulator would be to promote the hobby, not take away people from it.

Not sure why that thread got locked Sean. Seems a bit overzealous to me. It was in General and not being critical of any sim in particular.

Was actually going to post that I fully understand and sympathise.

In fact (I must have been living under a rock) I just spotted that Quake (the original) has been remastered and on Steam for £7.99. That is a definite distraction, though I never could finish the last couple of levels even on Easy mode and I always preferred Quake 2.

I guess I should've rephrased it (which is why I write longer "essays"). I check and possibly post here every day. I'm just not running any particular train simulators at the moment. Still coming up with tons of ideas for 2023. Just in case anyone was wondering what happened to my youtube channel as I've had some comments where I had to explain what was happening.

Not a sim, but one of the most enjoyable train themed games in my lifetime.

This is a site to discuss railroads, train simulators and the related tools we use to feed our 3D modeling habits...

Some slack has been given to topics like Rolling Line and Truck Sim because they're close enough to be of general interest e.g. examples of modeling and scenery design.

If you find it necessary to be posting "why I'm taking a break but hey I'm still here on a daily basis" type messages to "your followers", then I suggest you try PM's, Facebook, some other form of social media, or a blog.

I guess we got to be robots then when referencing continued interest in Train Sims and other ideas about train sims, on the Train Sim General Forum. Wouldn't want to actually say why I wasn't doing something.

BTW I have plenty on my Youtube thanks. If I can maintain 800 subscribers I don't need to lectured about how to promote. Not everyone is on my YouTube and I thought it would be human of me.
