The example of Napoleon saying "Not tonight, Josephine!", is a good example as there is no proof at all that he actually said that.
There are plenty of similar historical examples....the story of George Washington chopping down his father's cherry tree is one.

I like the word...it sounds like a medical condition!

I'll have to admit I'm starting to feel the ignored feeling of certain topics as well. For example there was what I would call a serious AI issue still after the latest changes and there is no response in anything outside of the bug section. The issue with the AI behavior they keep saying has changed is they're not explaining what has been changed so I don't know how to help them.

I posted a very detailed post in the MP section to try not and just get a post dubbed as repeat info. I may post it once in the bug section but after that I really don't know how I can help them help themselves.

It's starting to become a wait and see for me and not a sure buy now. Despite that I still say most MP runs are 90% of the time issue free.

        Thanks

Once again last night's thread is testiment to how human interaction can make the schedules interesting. Right now every passenger service runs hourly as well as every cargo train (of course this is a test and I'm not sure what the main release will be like). But what makes it interesting to dispatch a tower and I did it in last night's stream (2 towers in fact as I switched it up) I was able to communicate with the tower beside me in getting certain movements out of the way of priority traffic. There was at least 4 drivers on once (Poland has had better numbers, and the US is declining as of late). The variance in the schedule is what makes things interesting. If you can control or at least be fortunate enough (most times you are believe me) in people that simply want to run then it's a very enjoyable experience. It actually has given me plenty of motivation to achieve my own goals and projects which I still continue to work on. Learning new techniques, working with great artists for both help and assets. It's going to be a very interesting year.

Now IF and that is a big IF because this is Europe and it's majority passengers on time (I suspect you tell me) as well as fewer cargo trains (not sure how varied they are) if it's just player and AI only it still needs some variation in the schedule and something that makes the task more challenging and different (even if routine) on a regular basis. Right now my eyes are on North America because of it, but I still enjoy this sim.

          Thanks

Understood. A man against his will, is of the same opinion still. I'll just keep posting for others who are interested (the few that remain). I'm working on something that is totally SP, but I better not say that too loud.

              Thanks

Zombies and SimRail has the DTG bug. With the passengers floating over the track bed.

I cannot sit at a PC playing a game for two hours without being able to save the state of play at some point, so MP has very little attraction for me. Doesn't matter what the game or genre is; if I can't save then it loses points.
I'm getting the vibes that this SIMRail is a Polish version of TSW. From what I've viewed on videos, etc, I can't place my own locomotives on the track, I cannot create consists to any length and go from a-b, for say 25 miles from one point to another,, even though the route may be 250 miles long, but, I don't want to drive the whole length of the route daily, so, I don't think after all these years we are going to get something akin to TS Classic, where we can go into the route and change things, from scenery assets, creation of train consists, etc, it looks to me to be another ''closed shop simulator'', where we can only play the game the way the developers want us to......again!!!

I'm still feeling a bad vibe about the single player game especially as the devs continue to ignore questions about whether there is a saved game feature. They haven't responded to my questions on their forum or the Facebook page. So at this point I really am in wait and see mode and might not even be a Day 1 purchase.

TBH I haven't even touched it since before Christmas, well I tried once a few evenings ago and it was back to the server dropping me as soon as I tried to connect - back to my TSW and TSC comfort zones.

I play MP now and again and usually get a decent length run out of it.

But a decent SP game is my main requirement. So no day one purchase here, until i have more clarity.

On what the whole package consists of.

                          Same here, Vern.
It beats me why devs ignore requests for information; it doesn't help their cause.

Developers have already talked about editors they plan on developing and it won't be closed shop. It is supposed to be in 3 phases so we'll see how far they are towards phase 1. EA releases this Friday the 13th.

Personally I'm not in a rush as Scott and I've made breakthroughs with our own development. SimRail was a key factor in helping inspire the project but we are only just getting started.

                            Thanks

Well I just spent the funds I had earmarked for SimRail to rebuy "The Bus", so it will probably be an end of the month or February purchase now.

That is Berlin i believe. Need a bus game that features the UK and not as an after thought.
