Yep, total farce. Some scenarios are nearly 4 hours long and there's not many of them
Wish I'd waited, feel a refund coming on.
The whole thing still feels a buggy mess anyway, I was getting massive screen pixelation in Warsaw.

Did you say Warsaw?? I thought they didn't add anything since the playtest, which is it? Warsaw is further north than the playtest boundry. I was of the understanding from a map that there was also the line out of SG heading around.

So I asked these questions on my Discord.

How much track has been added and where?
If we are going by the map and that you mentioned Warsaw than the entire line 1 as well as the bypass is likely in.

How many towers have been added for users and where?
I haven't been given an answer to this one yet.

What is the current server levels?
I haven't been given an answer to this one yet.

What does single player look like - Can I play on my own?
So all I keep hearing is no saves, yeah we get it. At least I'm hearing there is a few activities but I'm not interested in that either. To me single player has to be something that you start and stop with a world save. A scenerio save just because it's 4 hours really don't care because I'm not running scenerios (unless they are very dynamic and change quite a bit).

I still need more info to make a decision but it's not tempting me and currently RTS Tower is keeping me occupied enough.

I got to be honest here as someone who has spent a lot of time testing, defending, and posting quite a bit on their forum I feel a bit shafted just becasue I didn't purchase this right away.

I can read every forum (except the very last one which I'm totally restricted from reading something called Early Access - yet people are posting in it as well). In fact many people who took the plunge are not only posting but they're posting lots of bug reports. I'm pretty sure I can go post on their Discord as I'm on it but I doubt I'm going to bother. As for the steam page who really cares, but I decided to take a look anyways and of course I can comment there so I did. First of all we have 68 reviews thus far and it's showing as mixed. But this is what I had to say on the Steam Community.

You know I hyped this sim up and I was one of the biggest guys on the English forums. But now I can no longer comment on said forums because I didn't jump right away and purchase when it was available.

Other than not getting answers to questions on what this is compared to the play test, my opinions are now not welcome?

To me this is not a good look and a bad move. You learn how to improve by finding people like me who haven't bought in just yet and learning why they haven't. I'm not going to spend my time on Steam discussions pleading my case. I'll follow this thread and try and figure out what has improved since play test. I wanted to be cautious but now I really don't care to be honest.

You are going to need lots of people reaching out to all over the world to get people's attention. Because people like me who gave suggestions, let you know what bugs you had are now on the outside.

I was going to but I held off. I'm actually thinking about biting (though I know I will eventually get bored of this until more stations to dispatch come in).

they have indeed expanded to Warsaw as well as the rap arond route as promised. It also looks like they've added more trains. So I'm going to take the bite and give it a try. It looks like people are already on the servers. Of course MP is the only way I'm going to experience any enjoyment here and I'm fine with that. It will get better as things move on.

As for you single player guys I feel for you. Hopefully you make your voices loud (if they give you a voice).

Well here is what I can tell you as I have my 2 hours in now. You have to go through the tutorial again if you want access to MP. There are the tutorial runs and then there are the SP runs. Then you have the MP and there is a key factor taking place, and that is acceess.

So basically one of the newest desks requires you to have 6 hours of experience before you can touch it. Some of the ones that I'm good at requires a bit less. You start off with some of the lower end ones.

There is a tutorial when you first enter the dispatch system that you can leave on or turn off. I kept it on becasue I wanted to hear a bit more about everything and it was a boring station so no big deal (though you better find a dead server first or else a few trains will be waiting as they yap through it).

There is also a report feature they mention in the tutorial that can be used to report users who are purposely trying to cause issues. I don't know what that does exactly but the fact that it's there is something.

The territory is much bigger now and has pretty much doubled from the test. The way I see it the save is a non-factor for me. Put it this way if you run single player runs your going to run the same thing and then what's the point. You could say more TSW like but again once your run all those trains what's the point.

In MP you are not going to get a bunch of "buddy talk" as I like to call it. Because of the bigger area you have a much bigger variety of trains to choose from with an aproximate time that it should take you to complete. Personally I think that is much more interesting and you can taylor to the amount of time you have available.

I understand saving a world, but saving a run has never made much sense to me personally. I would love to see a single player world where you can do whatever you want, save it when your done that I get and would like to see. Still for now no issues tonight ran a train on the new section where I went through this long tunnel. There are many more horn zones it seems (very hard to spot). As much as I'm not a points person I do like the challenge of it.

The issue is otherwise the schedule I don't think has changed. I'm going to ask about that tomorrow. This is eventually going to get boring. I'm not usually a passenger person and even the cargo trains have little purpose or activity.

Thankfully I have my own little project to work on, and this will remain in my Steam library and hopefully they improve along with others like Run8 and eventually we get Railroader. Until then plenty for me in RTS Tower.
