      Same.
I won't be bothering unless there is a save function.

The hype of SimRail is over?

I cannot understand why some of the brain dead's on their forum. See the save function as some sort of threat or inconvenience.

Nothing was ever said that it was an MP game exclusively and the SP part was an after thought. The Depot option on the main menu is locked as well. Yet the developers do not even say what it will consist of, when activated. All to sneaky and secretive.

Quite right Mike. I've pretty much stopped looking and even posting on the official forum, which seems to be dwindling in terms of how busy it is anyway. Definitely a case of try the new beer, then back to your regular.

Apparently there is another patch today, but can't see they have put in the missing stations you can't call at, sorted the background conversation which plays when you open the window on the EU07 or done anything to improve the SP game.

I haven't been on their forum in days, Vern. I know i will only get banned if i do.

Yup i will stick with the Newky Brown and Brains, buddy

I believe SP is not of any great importance to the developers.

They didn't exactly put themselves out with the SP playtest. Which was just the regurgitated Prologue tutorials.

A couple of the supporters now in full denial mode on the thread about SimRail that DTG have allowed on their forum. Said my piece on it and leaving them to it.

They had Brains on in one of the Swindon 'spoons a few months back. Nice drop, despite Wetherspoons who normally make everything taste like Abbot Ale.

DTG forum is it Vern, better have a look.

At the training school, we all used to drink Arkles, which was disgusting but less than 2 shillings a pint

Occasionally the London Division boys would all get off the train at Swindon, when returning to the hostel on a Sunday evening.

To have a Double Diamond or two in the station. Those were the days, underage drinking and all the pubs would serve us

Will you be told Vern, there are no missing stations in Simrail. It's bloody perfect and indeed i would rate it alongside the second coming all day long, hahahahahahaha. That thread is nearly as bad as the bile on the developers forum.

Well since you're refering to certain people braindead on another forum and bringing your dirty laundry over here, let me set the record straight. I follow the forum and it's much more civil and open to free thought. Yes I've blocked at least 1 person and apparently a different person has blocked me. The way you paint the picture is as if everyone is scared and that there is this big conspiracy theory against single player.

Let me set the record straight while you trash somethign that doesn't suit your needs while you talk about ales and hijack yet another thread with your back and forther batter that belongs in the kiddie section of Discord or TiKTok instead of grown men (not bitter old men) having a discussion about the pros and cons of a product.

SimRail is clearly not focused on single player. Nobody forced you guys to spend time, or pay anything, that is on you. If you bought something on the hope of something or that you could push something in your direction because you have swagger, than your as foolish as you sound right now.

I haven't chcked the update as of yet, but there are plenty of them. They have talked about bringing in a better single player system. Something if I undersand correctly is supposed to be more AI based than activity based (but to be honest I haven't followed much more of the conversation, nor do I expect any changes).

The AI is what they have been focusing on as well as trying to get more signal boxes because they are in demand right now. For the most part the MP is working fine. The rumors of trolls could very easily be inexperienced users and as others have pointed out the majority of the issues is AI being overloaded in certain circumstances.

I don't know what the rating of SimRail is right now, last I checked shortly after release was mixed. There are still plenty of bugs, but it is very playable and has plenty of activity in it right now. If it wasn't playable or enjoyable then servers wouldn't be filling up like the ones in Poland (for obvious reason more popular than the English) and even the English servers are doing pretty good.

I was accused of trolling the TSW thread and I was only there to voice my displeasure but not go on about any off topic crap. I was told if I didn't like it why am I in that forum here on TS still talking about. Well here's the mirror looking right at you kids.

                      Thanks

Geez cut the SR devs a break. Just getting underway, still developing features, tweaking present product, without doubt introduce others along the way. Gotta start somewhere. I believe they've done a fine job thus far. "No Man's An Island". Perhaps the "Dynamic Duo" could jump onboard teach them how it's done? Should such a perfect product hit the market, perhaps, I could be persuaded to buy in. Anyways I still loves ya. Grumpy O'l Men need to stick together.

Well, Mike - that's been highlighted by the fact that there was no mention of it in the minuscule "list" of SP updates (all two items) in amongst the three pages of stuff that Sean just posted.

Ooops! Sorry....I forgot that he's on your ignore list.
Well, there were several consecutive posts by Sean today in which he cut & pasted a list of updates as issued by the SimRail hierarchy.

                              Why?
Why should they be given some slack when it was they who posted that a save-game would be forthcoming and then contradicted that?
That killed any likelihood of me buying the sim.

Well, give it time the save feature may still come about. If they decide not to offer such a feature, so be it. Perhaps, they've changed their minds / plans. When was the last time you changed your mind? I would venture a guess "often" judging by your Purchase & Return announcements throughout TS. Anyways, spend that money on something else, better yet, save it for a rainy day.
