Just reading that over on their forum - still downloading here. I'm guessing they don't want to give too much away for free!

Looks that way Vern, can't say i blame them. Trying to do the 07 tutorial, which i never saw in Prologue.

Cannot get the damn thing to work. Matey doing the voice over is flaming confusing. Turn one thing on, then another. Then he insists i go back and turn the first switch off again. In some sort of macabre endless repeat

European trains are not the same with cloth upholstered seats!

Lost me there Vern sorry. Last time i was on a European train was 1958, coming home on leave. With my parents and sister, while my dad was serving with BAOR. Might have had wooden seats and open wagons back then

Well, I submitted a request to playtest and it was granted and I've downloaded, installed and run that freight intro thing again........exactly the same as Prologue.
Still cannot abide the sound of the electric loco.....woeful.

Which one Bruce? If it's the Traxx loco, then apparently they sound like that in reality, in fact the implementation in SimRail is better than the similar locos in TSW.

Try the EU07, it's a much nicer loco.

The one thing I'm still trying to get an answer on but getting nowhere, is whether the final version will allow the game to be saved in Single Player mode. If not, that may well be me out as the whole point (for me) is not just to keep doing the same short stretch in multiplayer but to travel the whole route. I'm currently dithering over parting with £42 for Zusi 3 for exactly the same reason.

Okay......the second time I tried the game (Single Player) I opted for the loco-hauled passenger service - can't recall the loco type.

This was a far more enjoyable experience, only let down by the lack of a good tutorial; the Polish/English commentary is not the easiest to follow and although buttons and switches highlight, it can still be hard to fathom out where and what they are.

The sound of the loco is far easier on the ears than the one used in the freight scenario.

Sadly, no save-game. I hope that is something that the devs will address for the final version, otherwise there will be little point in my buying it.

                  @Vern...

I have posed the question re Save Game in their Suggestion forum, see if that brings forth a definitive answer.

                      Good-oh, Vern.
Here's hoping that they will say "yes".

If it helps I couldn't get the coal train past the bridge because it stalled on me. Might try it again later. Not sure what I did wrong even found the sanding switch but I think I was going too slow coming up to it or something and got stuck on the hill.

Going to try one of the other ones.

                        Thanks

You may need to provide a Welsh-to-Canadian translation for that, Mike.
