    Railroads Online

I haven't thought too much about any train simulators lately, but my son was mentioning Railroads Online and since he shares my YouTube it started coming up in my recommendations. So I checked out some videos and I must say despite appearing to have lost is soul, jacking the price up from what we paid, it seems to have expanded nicely under new management.

I'm installing it again out of my Steam library to take a look at it and will probably horse around at my leisure while my main focus as of late has been Out Of The Park Baseball 2024.

I'll post here anything that I see of interest, or perhaps a live stream if it's as interesting as it seems.

    Thanks

Reviews of the newer games is something I'd like to see more of. If you're OK with it, those are perfect for sharing on the homepage to help those exploring the idea of train simulation.

I could do it but I'm not sure how much I'm into this one. I will however share a review of another one coming next month that I just heard about "Railroader" is hitting early access

How do you share on the homepage? The other night I briefly took a look at it. I know I often say kids aren't very patient, but apparently I wasn't. After giving up trying to figure out how to get the track straight the other night, my son Emmett tonight spent the evening building the line on the new map from the logging camp to the sawmill. I love the 24 hour cycle and the various weather effects. Haven't seen the random weather appear random except sunny days and clear nights so far.

Once he finished with the lines and a modest yard to his liking he took out the Montezuma and about 4 cars for an innugral load at the the looging camp to the yard at the sawmill. I know they use Unreal 5 in this and the lighting of the engines in the dark is amazing both from the cab and viewing in the distance.

        Thanks
