Good news Mike. Thought I would try and ask for a refund anyway, just came back as agreed. Either played less than I thought or they took the part about not being able to get much use out of the DLC into account. Will lookto buy Texas and Montana for ATS once the funds clear.

Nice one Vern, he who dares............ 😀😀. You blagged them you mean buddy, hahahahaha.

ATS dlc is probably a better investment, regards value and probable play time.

Well i re-purchased the Cargo Pack DLC last night and have enjoyed running the ET22 tutorial. Apart from the idiot telling me the same thing over and over again.
But the loco itself is enjoyable to drive. Shame they could not be bothered to add a freight tute using the loco, on the other route.
Also revisited the EN57 EMU, which was fun. Good thing about SimRail is i can set the graphics to pretty much full on and unlike TSW. It does not drag my pc to it's knees.
Always preferred the look of the Unity game engine anyway to UE.

Think I will wait and see if they do a discount in the Steam summer sale. I do like those Polish electrics and looking at the latest TSW roadmap there is nothing other than the DB218 coming out that remotely interests me. And TSC, well I enjoy the steam traction but even that gets a bit samey. Time to reinstall SimRail I think.

Only cost me a quid more than the first time Vern. Just had a lovely ride (MP auto pilot) on an ET22, with some hoppers, 1hr 21mins. I haven't seen half of the two diverging routes, so i thought i would go sight seeing. Much prefer the Unity graphics to TSW, the foliage looks much more natural. Developers need to sort out the loco travel motion though. The ET22 just bounces up and down on it's two bogies, front to rear. No sideways sway, which as you know is not realistic buddy. Just needs a mainline diesel now, the modern sparky loco and the Pendelino do not interest me. I will look for you on MP Vern 🤣🤣.

All back up and running. Found a quiet server and grabbed an EN57 for the last few km of a local into Katowice. It actually sounds like an electric train, not the remixed milk float sources that DTG seem to use on their stuff (if you can even hear it).

Nice one Vern, yeah i really enjoy the EN57 and yes proper sounds.
Just wish the game had an in game 2D map, as i never know where i am. In relation to the whole available routes. Seems to be 3 different ways to get from Katowice to Warsaw.

Trying to drive the ET25 but no tutorial, will have to stick at it though. As i am really starting to enjoy driving in MP as well as SP.

It’s similar to the EU07 Mike except the shunt regulator when engaged seems to lock the throttle.

Are you thinking of the new ET22 in the dlc Vern. As with that one yes the shunt reg and throttle are interdependent.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newag_Dragon This is the one i mean buddy. Got it going yesterday from cold in SP scenario, i was so pleased with myself. I was grinning like a cheshire cat 🤣🤣

Sorry Mike, got my ET's mixed up. I haven't really bothered much with the modern stuff.

No worries Vern, no apology required buddy. No i wouldn't normally but when i looked at it in that Depot thing in game.
I noticed there wasn't any access to the engine room and the controls looked pretty straight forward.
So my assumption was the cold start up might be easy to get to grips with. I haven't been in or driven any of the modern emu's in game.
That thing with the long pointy nose, is my worst nightmare as far as emu's or even dmu's go Vern.

The Pendolino suffers from traction lock if you come to a stand then try and release the brakes. Think I’ve seen something mentioned on the official forum.

Oh does it Vern, is that a bug then buddy. Need a nice sexy 1970's - 80's mainline diesel loco.
