Not for me. I was born and raised on 1980s graphics and have no desire to go back to them. For the life of me I cannot understand the attraction.
Side-scrollers fall into the same category.

Guys another game you might like, is called "Door Kickers Action Squad" - buy it on sale, it's often under $5-6.

It's a pixelated side scroller, and it ended up being way more fun that I expected. It's totally different from Sniper Elite, yet I enjoyed both.

My brain doesn't work fast enough for anything other than cadet level buddy. Not sure if it is old age or the citalopram, or both 😄.

Yeah, Mike. On the hard level. Still good fun but considerably slower because I take longer to see what the enemy movements are before I move.

    Hahahahahahahaha, nice one Bruce 😁😁.

Posted a video of Fallout London for you, just been released i believe buddy.

You are playing SE4 on hard settings i believe. After 4 straight hours i would be a nervous wreck, on that setting 😉.

    This is ridiculous!
I'm having such an enjoyable time again in SE4 that I played it today for 4 hours straight!

Never mind, Mike. It doesn't make any difference to your ability or to that of the enemy.
There's a ghillie-suited character who is no better or worse at hiding in bushes than the default bloke!

Thank you Bruce, yes i have all those. BUT the elephant in the room is Dumbo here didn't know that character choice was even available. I just started playing with the default OSS sniper 🙀

Many thanks for clearing that up buddy. One day i am going to pay for some more brain cells. I think my parents must have been on a budget, when i was born.

That mod sounds interesting Bruce. Plus sandbox is always my preferred way of playing any game, that includes it as an option. Yup i saw quite a while back that there is a London add on being developed. I have all the DLC for SE4 and don't remember being given the option to play as a different character buddy.

I had forgotten just how enjoyable this game is and when played aty the highest difficulty settings it can be quite absorbing.
After 3 hours I'm still on the island and have successfully maintained a stealthy presence.....and still have a couple of prime targets to accomplish.
I must have downloaded some DLC for this some years ago because I have chosen to play as that well-known Russian female sniper - it's odd hearing her "think" with a male American accent!

So do I, which is why I initially find it odd not to have it in SE4 and keep hitting the 'V' key to switch!

Never played Fallout, too many creepy crawlies ☹ ☹, from what i have seen on YT.
Mike, for the last several playthroughs I have been running a mod ( a couple, actually) which allows the removal of all or any of the "creepy crawlies" and just leaves human enemies.

Although I've played FO4 in default (vanilla) mode for several run-throughs at various levels of difficulty I have been playing it for over six months in a "sandbox" mode - no quests, no principal NPCs and no companion. Just me and the wilderness and human remnants.

There are so many mods for every aspect of this game that by adding those which take your interest you can tailor it to suit your own personal preferences.
Coming up very soon will be a third-party DLC which is effectively a whole new region - "Fallout: London". That is one I'm really looking forward to.
