All the mods which work with FO4 since the Bethesda update back in April will work with this, Mike.
"London" is just another DLC, in effect. It's not a stand-alone in its own right.IBM XT i386; 512Kb RAM; 5.25" FDD; 1.4Mb FDD; 5Mb HDD; VGA 256-colour graphics card; AdLib soundcard; DR DOS 6.0; Windows 3.0

Hopefully as there were creepy things in that Fallout London video. In the middle of watching the second part of that play through at the moment.
High Res texture pack is 58gb and then London is 33gb to download. So doubt i will be playing it tonight.
Can you remember where you got that mod from please Bruce ? I did try searching on Nexus Mods, but nothing came up.

Mike, all my mods have been downloaded from Nexus.
The one which allows you to tailor the enemies and also gives you a total sandbox mode is called "Fallout 4-76 Open World (Legacy)".
Mod Author ID is SKKMods. Link https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/59082
Bear in mind that there may be others....this one I downloaded in 2022 and I haven't looked for anything else since using it.
I also run a "zombie" mod which gives the ability to also tailor your opposition. You'll still have the Feral Ghouls but can delete all or any of the following:
Mirelurks, Supermutants, Behemoths, Molerats, Deathclaws, Dogs, Scorpions, Bloodbugs, Stingwings and also Turrets. These can be replaced with zombies/ferals if you so wish.
This is called "Zombie Walkers" and is mod no 20485.
Here's a link..... https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20485
As I said earlier, there are dozens of ways to tailor the game to suit anyone's preferences.....thus the reason I have never really properly completed it.
At the moment I am running 125 mods. I keep tweaking things and that keeps the interest alive.Last edited by seagoon; 07-27-2024, 19:26.IBM XT i386; 512Kb RAM; 5.25" FDD; 1.4Mb FDD; 5Mb HDD; VGA 256-colour graphics card; AdLib soundcard; DR DOS 6.0; Windows 3.0

Hi Bruce, you are a gentleman and a scholar. Many thanks for the links and the info, proper job buddy.
I wonder if they work in London dlc, as when i installed it. The install info say that London changes the original game and if you want to go back to original FO4, it has to be re-installed.
Oh i love mods in all games where they are available, the more the merrier. I used Nexus extensively for mods for Read Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto V. Really excellent mod site.
Thanks again Bruce, much appreciated.

You're more than welcome, Mike.
I have no idea whether London will work with these or not, mate.
I'm not going to download that DLC until I read or see that it's glitches have been fixed and that it is working with the original Steam version of the game. Although I really want to try this new one I have no intention of stuffing-up my installation of FO4 and if I have to revert to vanilla then that won't happen; it's taken so long to to get it to where I really enjoy all the mods I use.
I'm sure the developers will work towards getting everything smoothed out but at the moment there are many people experiencing crashes.IBM XT i386; 512Kb RAM; 5.25" FDD; 1.4Mb FDD; 5Mb HDD; VGA 256-colour graphics card; AdLib soundcard; DR DOS 6.0; Windows 3.0

Thanks Bruce, top man. No they don't buddy, mods are only for London if specified. Anyway i uninstalled it all, as i haven't played the base game so reinstalled it and wanted to give it a play with your mods added. Plus London is apparently quite unstable and tends to crash for no reason. Installing to the Steam version you have to downgrade FO4 with a utility. As London does not work with the very latest version of the game. GoG version of FO4, it is just a straight forward run of the London installer.
Can you tell me please Bruce, how do i set the parameters of these two mods in game. They are installed with the Nexus Mod manager, but how do you stop certain creatures appearing in game. It is not explained anywhere, either in the mod files or on Nexus.

You should also install Fallout 4 Script Extender, known as F4SE....https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42147 and this will provide a convenient way of accessing some mods by hitting the Esc key whilst you are in the game.
Alternatively, for the two mods which we are talking about, once in the game if you open up your Pip-Boy and tab to the Miscellaneous tab then you should see references to both mods.....they are prefixed by [Setup].
Select the mod and then run through the parameters, selecting what you do or don't want as you go.
Images for Zombie Walkers attached....the arrangement for Fallout 4-76 is similar.

Hiya Bruce, yeah i installed the mod manager and used it to install the two mods you kindly linked to. When i say install, it just placed the two zip files in the game. I am only at the very beginning yet buddy, still in my house with the sheila. She keeps wanting to talk to me, so i binned that idea and went off to play with the baby 😁😁. So i guess i do not have a Pip-Boy yet. Sorry to be a pain Bruce, but i know absolutely nothing about this game. Wanted to get it a couple of years back, but saw on YT it had giant creepie crawlies (my phobia is spiders mainly but even any insects, even on tv or pc). What a thing for a grown man to admit to 😧😧. Fallout 4-76 is the other mod, yes ? Only asked as i saw online there was also a Fallout 76 game.
Many thanks again buddy, very helpful.

Mike, it starts sort of with a prologue - in the house etcetera - then the bombs fall and you'll be directed to the vault. As this is a learning curve just go with the flow and I'm assuming that you're playing it on the lowest difficulty level.....best place to start the learning curve, mate. You'll get a Pip-Boy when in the vault....but that's yet to come and part of your learning experience.
The Fallout 4-76 mod sort of replicates the style of the setup of Fallout 76, which is an online game.
I would strongly suggest that you find a video or two on YT where the player has started from scratch....that will help you get to grips with the basics.IBM XT i386; 512Kb RAM; 5.25" FDD; 1.4Mb FDD; 5Mb HDD; VGA 256-colour graphics card; AdLib soundcard; DR DOS 6.0; Windows 3.0

Hi Bruce, just been reading about Fallout 3 and Fallout 76 on Wikipedia. To sort of get a sense of the storyline, disappointed to see that 76 is MP only, as it is newer that 4. Yup what you say makes perfect sense buddy. Go with the flow and learn the game at a slow pace. Rather than jumping in feet first and asking too many questions. I will also have a look at some game play on YT.
Easy peasy level you can take for granted, with any game i play buddy 🤣🤣.
Thanks again Bruce 👍👍.
