That's a great pity, Vern, good luck with your searching, then.

It was a long time ago Steve and I happened on it quite by chance, so no hard record of it anywhere!
@dcarleton Yes exactly the problem... I’ve gone through Wikipedia and a couple of other sites with a comprehensive listing of trolley routes and not been able to identify it so far. However I shall persist with my endeavours.

Please understand that in the United States beginning in 1906 over 15,000 miles of electric Interurban lines were constructed, most of which were abandoned by World War Two. That's in addition to hundreds of miles of rural trolley lines that were part of big city trolley systems, and electrified steam railroad lines that in some ways resembled Interurbans. And, most of all of these were East of the Rockies.
So, given all the possibilities, this may be a very tough question to answer!

Where did you see it, Vern, on You Tube, or, somewhere else on t'internet? Would it be an idea to go into your history in Windows and see if you can see something like it, unless you clear your history/bookmarks out regularly, of course, in which case it won't keep that URL link.

Trying To Identify This Route...
Some time ago I found a North American trolley/interurban route which would have made an ideal study for a train sim route. Unfortunately... I never kept a record in my notebook, I can't remember the name and Google Fu has entirely failed me tracking it down again. So if anyone can help, here's what I can remember...
It was a rural trolley route, possibly a standalone unconnected system.
Standard gauge, electrified.
East of the Rockies.
Paralleled a river for much of its length.
Did not have a huge lifespan, possibly gone by the 1920's (I only traced its course on very old topo maps).
If anyone can help me, I will return the favour by firing up TSRE/DTG RE or Trainz and having a go at building it.Tags: None
