Evening, I am looking for information regarding the mechanisms mounted along the railroad tracks that has dogs that push against the outside frame of the trucks to push the car forward. These devices are used at loading/unloading facilities in place of a small locomotive sometimes and generally push the car at less than 1 MPH. The best example I can give even know I cannot find any photos would be the arrangment at the Cargill grain elevators in Seattle Washington. Anyone have any decent photos or drawings of one of these devices? Here is a little bit on some of the older models of such devices http://www.google.com/patents/US4926755
