Rush Hour Storm Floods GO Train...

Small storm cell moves in from the north and all is lost within an hour.... 124mm of rain - 74mm within 1hr. Causing some severe flooding all over the Toronto and surrounding regions. We lost our power from 6pm till just after midnight.

Here is one of the GO trains running thru the Don Valley, as the water levels rose up thru the seating on the first floor, all passengers had to be rescued via the Toronto & Peel Regional Marine units using boats!! This rescue took from 6pmish till 1am to remove all the passengers.

This is one of the highways in the Mississauga area... 4'+ of water ...

    So fun day!!

Yikes! By any chance did you mean 148 cm? 148 mm turns to roughly 4 7/8', where as 148 cm is about 4' 7/8". Either way it doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun! What's the water level like now?
