    Vale Yuri Sos - Steam4Me

I was informed today that Yuri Sos passed away yesterday after a battle with cancer.

Yuri was involved with MSTS in it's early years and his Steam4Me site with it's downloads and tutorials on all things MSTS was always a "go to".

What a sad loss indeed. Steam4Me has always been a go-to source for MSTS information, and is still of value today. Good news is that the Steam4Me site will remain online for a considerable period after this.

I reached out to Yuri a few weeks ago with a question via email. He did respond, he did answer my question, then wrote "Sorry I can't help anymore as I have terminal Leukemia and am not long for this world". I was crushed. I am happy he no longer has to deal with his situation. I can't even imagine.

As a fellow Aussie, and also a devotee of Yuri's site back in the MSTS days, I echo the sentiments of others here.
Many may not be aware that Yuri was also involved in the production of steam videos and this "About Us" recognises his involvement, along with many others.....

He had been battling it for years, but everything changed last week and he was given about 2 weeks, and only made 1.

If anyone has contact with the family, please pass along my condolences.

If the future of the S4M site is at all in question, please let them know that this site and community are willing to host at no cost to Yuri's family.

Unless something has changed dramaticlly, this comes from the main MSTS page of the Steam4Me website.

Thanks to this generosity, the steam4me site is fully funded till late 2025. In the event of my "inability" to update the web hosting, my son will continue to update the site account till 2030.
