Time to get busy! Day one, man, that was a long time ago, wasn't it? I can't think of any other computer game or sim that has lasted this long!

        And is still going strong.

No one has been here that long. Join dates were corrupted at the last forum "software update".

This is probably the earliest post you can find:

Just adding to my meager post count...

          regards,

The original game was released, what, May, June 2001?

Actually, I might have actually been around 10 years, I came over from Flightsim.com, when this site was first created.

Shucks, I have not made either yet. My join date was November 1999 (wow that is hard to type anymore) and I am only up to 4720 posts. I do think I had the first two files in the library with modified .eng files, the Santa Fe Doodlebug by Ron Paludan and me and the Milwaukee "GP49s" by Ken Wright and me.
BTW, congratulations to all the folks on that list!! Quite a prestigious group of windbags! You guys are a testament to stubborness!

Yes, computing for 30 years, then Flight Sims since FS.1, X-Plane and since 2001 Train Simulators are my life !

Got nothing else to do or am interested in at my age of 80 now and without the above might just as well be dead !

Moderators should make a new rule... Like if any member makes over 1000 posts should be promoted to "Advanced Senior Member" People under 1-25 posts should be named "Newbie" Over 5000 or more posts should be "Mile High Club Senior Member" or something like that..

There has to be a way to "spice" this up...lol

Yeah,I guess I do need to get busy Rob.I'm pretty sure my first post was a response to a thread on wheel slippage and it's effect on rail.I can't believe I remember that.Back then Nels was one of the primary posters.I also was turned on to TrainSim.Com through Flightsim.com.I was big into CFS2 back then.

I have found that those who post less and been here longer, many times know more than those who post much.
