When I run the program the window sits half way over on the right of my screen and wont move. I tried running it in windowed mode, but it won't work. I don't know if this is a problem my computer is causing (though its never happened before) or if its a problem with the program itself. Any ideas?

The window opens okay on my screen, but the telephone messages are garbled. Are you supposed to understand the messages? Cheers; Chuck F.

Has anyone figured out how to get the broadway limited to actually take its signal? So that the first train that was being help can be routed over to track 2.

Dave, are you running one monitor or two? What operating system are you running?

You must clear 4L signal first (lever to the left)
once Broadway is clear from interlocking, turn switch 1, then clear 2L (lever to the left)

            Hope this will help

I don't think so. They appear to be generic to me. The information as to what the call is actually about is displayed at the top in the information window.

I do miss the fact you can't look out the window...

I always liked Train Dispatcher as you had many locations to chose from including Lillooet in BC etc., I wonder how much SLI will charge for the release. As Train Dispatcher is $45 for all it has ( http://www.softrail.com/traindis3sof.html )

                  My Opinion:

After playing the demo, I hope the price is less than $4.95 . I found looking at the same screen to be very boring while waiting for a light to go on. At least include some outside views we can switch to, to pass the time.

I'm sure others will enjoy this game, but it's not for me.

I agree. I ran it for about 5 minutes then removed it. Train Dispatcher holds my attention more than this does.

Jason, I'm running one monitor and Windows 7. Now that I think about it, it could be because of Windows 7.

I agree with that. Plus for someone on a budget they can download TD2 for free and get a good selection of territories free as well. TD gives a all around good dispatching experience.

Hi! I don't have TD to compare, but this sim holds no interest for me. With what is already available in the train simming world, the tower office needs to be 3D, and trains should be seen from the windows. Also, the dispatcher audio should be real. Without these improvements, I just don't see this as a simulator. Cheers; Chuck F.

This was my first time trying out a dispatcher sim and I found it to be interesting. The demo doesn't really give you a whole lot to do after you get the hang of things but I just noticed the "scenario creation tutorial" that says you can have up to 5 trains for the demo so I'll have to check that out when I get home from work later tonight.
